nagato lost because he was immobile and if not for yassakas MAGATAMA+ rashinshuriken+ bijudama combined together, that was able to destroy shibaku tensei, itachi could have been dead. no ninja can beat nagato with his six path all at full force and full strength. naruto won against nagato because he has been weaken already. nagato was strong chakra, rennegan, he exist between life and death ie being the seventh pain. no man can win against nagato without the fore knowledge of his power.
as skillede as hanzou , he could not even kill one path of pain.

naruto destroyed 5 paths(yes wit information bt whatever) and yes kyuubi helped him bt in the end he defeated pain(mind you he beat 5 paths without kyuubi)am not trying to down nagato here but i tink ure overating him with claims lyk wat u posted nagato is very powerful no doubt bt hes no god hes beatable lyk the series has shown

First of all, really sorry for not reading all of your posts, but I am short of time right now. Nevertheless, I will spend 5 minutes to write my input. I am sure most of your have done very well to defend your points so I will keep my opinions short and on the subject.

1. Minato might be able to beat Itachi, BUT this is a weird match-up either way you look at it. We don't know how Minato would react against one of the strongest genjutsus in the world, nor do we know how Itachi reacts to someone that fast.

2. Senju Hashirama - pretty much self-explanatory. Senjus are good vs uchihas and defeated Madara ... I would say YES

3. Madara - EMS vs MS ... yes

4. Hiruzen - not really sure about this one. Hiruzen is strong and in his prime he was said to have surpassed his predecessors (if I remember correctly). So maybe that's the answer: he might defeat itachi, but only when he was in his prime. Otherwise, I would say Itachi.

5. Sasuke - not sure ... Itachi has got the experience and genjutsu skills. But haven't seen Sasuke with EMS yet.

6. Tobi w/ rinnegan, yes. Tobi w/o rinnegan, no.

7. Kisame - why ? I don't understand how Kisame would stand a chance against someone like Itachi ... and I'm not sure if he's smart enough to even stand a chance ... but that's just me.

8. Muu - difficult to say ... this depends on a lot of things, but make sure that Itachi can trap muu in a genjutsu, if muu isn't careful... even if he is invisible, he still cannot look in his eyes.

9. Naruto - his main weakness is Itachi's strength.

10. 3rd Raikage - don't know enough about him. and AGAIN, genjutsu = win against anyone.

11. Tobirama - how did he get in there? We barely know how he looks and that's it. I wouldn't count his edo tensei as an accurate portrayal of him.

12. Nagato - Pretty sure there are enough people to counter this and if not, type in pain vs itachi in the search bar and refer to one of the huge pointless debates from over there.

And one important thing:

For anyone saying there would be a TIE between two shinobi of their levels, I am not sure how you got to that conclusion. Actually for any two shinobi is virtually impossible to end a battle (presumably without any interference) in a tie...unless we're talking about Deidara who can kill himself and someone else at the same time...other than that I think one shinobi will eventually run out of chakra or make a mistake, or anything really...think about it.

2-yes, wood element, yin element, tai and and kinjustsu as well.
3-yes,strongest uchiha ever.
4-no, hiruzen was one of the best, he would give alot of trouble but we doent have techs powerfull enough to defeat itachi.
5-no-itachi has fight experince on his side, he knows eventual weakness of amaterasu and susano´o.
6-yes,untachable and with six jinchuuriki paths, not enough time for itachi.
7-no, itachi is genjustsu fighter, bad match for kisame.
8-draw
9-no, troublesome but i have the feeling that itachi wins.

11-draw
12-i fight betwen monsters, only god nows.

1) Minato - Maybe. They are both very fast, but I think if Minato doesn't know about Itachi's Genjutsu he doesn't have a chance. If he does know, he could win.
2) Hashirama Senju - He would win against Itachi. He bet Madara who had the EMS and could use Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susano'o without getting blind, so I think he could beat Itachi too.
3) Madara - Itachi'd loose. Madara has EMS, Mokuton and Rinnegan, Itachi has just the MS. Madara is known as the strongest Uchiha, so...
4) Hiruzen Sarutobi - Hiruzen knows that Itachi is really good in genjutsu, so maybe he could win.
5) Sasuke (EMS-Susano-Amaterasu) - I think it's a 50:50 chance. Sasuke has the EMS, but Itachi is better in Genjutsu and he has more experience.
6) Tobi (Rinnegan - Six Paths) - Tobi'd win. He was able to survive Amaterasu before he had the Rinnegan and the Six Paths. I don't think Itachi could get all Paths in a Genjutsu, so the other Paths could attack him.
7) Kisame - Well, I think Kisame might have a chance, but I think Itachi'd still win. Itachi's Katon Jutsus would burn Samehada so maybe Kisame wouldn't have as much chakra as he usually has. But he knows about Itachi's Genjutsu, so maybe he could win.
8) Muu - Well, Muu would survive Amaterasu because he can part himself, but he'd get weaker and weaker, so I think Itachi would win if he's able to hit Muu with Amaterasu 4 or 5 times.
9) Naruto (KM and SM) - KM means Kyuubi Mode an SM Sennin Mode, right? KM, it depends a bit on Kyuubi. If he doesn't suck out Narutos chakra so Naruto can use a lot of Kage Bunshin, and if he releases Itachi's Genjutsu like Hachibi did with Bee, he has a small chance of winning. SM, I don't think so because he can't use Sennin Mode while he moves, and in a battle he has to move. So I think Itachi'd win.
10) Third Raikage - Well, I think Itachi could get him into a Genjutsu at the beginning of the fight so the 3. Raikage couldn't use his Jutsus, so Itachi'd win. If the Raikage somehow avoids to get captured in a Genjutsu he has a chance against Itachi.
11) Tobirama Senju - I don't know...
12) Yes, oh yes, the one and only, the infamous rival.. NAGATO - If Nagato uses the Six Paths of Pain I think he'd win because Itachi couldn't get them all into a Genjutsu, though he has still a chance.
13) Sasori - I think Itachi'd win this battle. I think he could burn Sasori's puppets with Amaterasu, and if Sasori is just burned, his heart won't survive.


But I think maybe Hidan could have a chance. Because as soon as he gets a bit blood, Itachi's doomed. It depends on where they fight. If Hidan fought there before or if he drawed a Jashin symbol on the ground before he'd have a good chance, otherwise he'd need a lot of luck.

Itachi is my fav. char. from naruto and i dont think that he is undefeatable but kisame, naruto and tobirama senju would never defeat itachi. Even sasuke defeated him because he was dying on illnes and it was his plan to dye there.
