Itachi pawns him if jiraiya is 52 and itachi is 20.
If both are 11, its overkill. Itachi did great thinks when he was a kid. To be in anbu you have to be jonin, to be anbu squad captain you are must be special.

Itachi is my fav character, but you got it wrong. He became an anbu squad leader at 13 before obviously joining akatsuki later that time, so he mustve been 13/14

Itachi being an ANBU captain has nothing to do with Itachi being in Akatsuki. He found Madara months or even years before the massacre, as Madara told Sasuke. Tobi being the leader of Akatsuki.

The notion of Itachi participating as an associate of Akatsuki before leaving the village or becoming an ANBU captain isn't a stretch. At all. Because he was bargaining with Madara as Hiruzen spent time bargaining with the Uchiha.

So if Itachi at age 11 "was the only one to find Madara" and strike a deal with him, then he would've been with Akatsuki while also operating in Konoha. During that time, he defeated Orochimaru, and was Tobi's apprentice.

After the bargaining period failed, which ought to have lasted months or years, the massacre occurred, at age 13, he left the village, joined Akatsuki full-time as a wandering missing nin, and was assigned Kisame as his partner.

Actually no, Listen part 1 , During the akatsuki meeting in holograpphic form, 1 of the akatsuki said " it's been 7 years since we met like this, and orochimaru left"

itachi was 17 in part 1 which puts him 10-11, you could say that was a mistake obviously, kishi didnt think things out in part 1


but

part 2 kisame said, it's been 10 years since orochimaru left, itachi was 21 in part two, which makes 11

The thread is confusing. Does the op mean both are 11 or itachi is 11. If both are 11 itachi would wipe the floor with him with ease. If itachi is 11 jiraiya would win, because although he's a genius we was like chunnin at 11.

If the op means itachi at the time he joined akatsuki at 13/14, its tricky because its around this age that itachi became an anbu leader, activated his ms techs, joined akatsuki and handed oro's pedo ass to him.

It could go either way if itachi outsmarts him and catches him in any of the ms techs, but stamina and experience are on jiraiya's side, so i think jiraiya would win

I would not argue with you. Itachi became an anbu leader at 13 and at that time he hadnt killed his clan or met up with akatsuki. Common sense should prevail here, he mustve been 13/14 when he joined

itachi didn't meet the akatsuki till after he killed his Clan, Thats why Oro was so shocked when He noticed it was Itachi who was the "new" member
