3/10. Her skills with poison are worse than Sasori's. Tsunade is also a better medic ninja than her. Her character design is less than exemplary. Tenten's buns look a lot cooler. Also, she loses points for attacking Kakashi out of the blue.

Chiyo really brightened things up for me in the beginning of shippuden. Her relationship with Sasori (although laughed at sometimes by the fandom) was incredibly well written in my eyes. Old people in this manga don't always get a fair shake, but females in this manga have it even worse. Chiyo was probably one of the most endearing characters for me in shippuden. I don't talk about her often but I have to say what she brought to the manga was perfect.

Her moveset (puppets) is highly creative and one of the few aspects to Kishimoto's manga I felt deserved more justice and spotlight. Her quick whit and hilarity was something that was rather missing after the depressing ending of part 1 and even more depressing start to part 2 (poor gaara getting snatched).

I'll try not to throw 10's out like they are nothing, but Granny chiyo is a straight up 10 for me.

I agree with these points. Chiyo was well written indeed.
I didn't like her as a character that much, but I greatly respect how Kishi handled her and what she brought to the table.

Lets start with the positives. Hmm well first of all despise being old she is still a skilled shinobi. Being able to take control of 10 bodies and use them to fight people like it was just 1 controlled body shows much skill. But the problem is her personality. Yeah she revived Gaara but let's be serious thats the most she could do as an old hag. Her biggest mistake is that even after dying she doesn't care for the future of the Shinobi children. I give her a 3 cause she could be a more loving person and that death joking is so annoying. Playing dead isn't fun at all ...
