listen kishi seriously screwed up the time and era of certain events.. i wanted to make a post on this but the more i researched, the more errors in the time i found and decided to not post at all. considering jiraiya was 53 when he died, he must have taught nagato from when jiraiya was 20. then Nagato must be some where near 34 when he died. at the time of death, minato was some where near 23. now he would have been 39. so who is older???

Jiraiya was 16-17 when he meet 10 year old Nagato so Logiaclly jiraiya is atleast 10 year older than Nagato. Both Jiraiya and Nagato died in the Same year so If Jiraiya Died at the Age of 53 Nagato Died in more than 43. and That makes Minato Younger than Nagato

All you have to do is track the time with reference to Jiraiya...

(Jiraiya's Age - Nagato's age) *approximately = 10

Nagato was around 10 when they trained with Jiraiya. Then Jiraiya went home. Then found Minato (*once in a decade super genius). Then trained him.

Therefore, Minato must be 5 to 10 years younger than Nagato. I don't see where is the confusion in this?

Also, Shikaku and Chouza are slightly older than Minato.
Shikaku ---> Azuma ---> 10 year gap.
Minato ---> Kakashi ---> 10 year gap.
Azuma ---> Kakashi ---> 2-3 year gap.
