They have been too immersed with their silly theories and adding more and more unneeded plot twists and back stories, ignoring that those were utterly irrelevant to the plot. Their theories came to be a waste and it hurts them now.

Most can't even write a half decent FF or we might see some interesting alternative endings in our FF section. But nope, they wanted someone else to write the story, the way they wanted.
