-10 reasons why Sasuke is a wrong Candidate to become Hokage-

There are about 10 reasons why I think Sasuke as a Uchiha himself is a wrong candidate to become Hokage.


Him being a Uchiha is bad enough, here are my reasons:

1: Sasuke is still confuse and is following the wrong path. He's following the Uchiha hatred path way and what feels right to him. His focus about how he's going to become Hokage is very wrong. He wants to become Hokage even if some force has to be use to become Hokage. He doesn't care about the community and what they think about him just as long as his goal is accomplish. Either he's taking over the leaf village as a dictator or taking it over by oppression.

2: If Sasuke some how does become Hokage, the leaf village will not be the same. The leaf village economy will drastically change. If I was to explain it, it will be equal to a communist economy. No one will ever have liberation.

3: Uchihas throughout history are still known to be power hungry because of the simple fact it runs in their clan genes. Just as his great elder ancestor pass down the Uchiha tablet which will explain to their future ancestors how to awaken the Rinnegan and gain more power.

4: Uchihas don't like people who are more successful then them. They use brute force for any altercation they have. There are mostly feared because of their ocular powers. Uchihas are born to betray. This is why Madara wasn't elected.

5: As this leads onto 4, Uchihas can't take no for a answer. They want to do things there way. It doesn't matter what anyone says or think as long as they're getting their way. Uchihas don't try to end war or bring peace. Hell, it was even hard as to accept a peace treaty from the Senjus. They'll always see you as enemy rather then a aliied. This what lead to the slaughter of the Uchihas because they try to set up a Coup D'tat.

6: Sasuke betray the leaf village by living the leaf village and siding with the enemy. By him doing this he lost trust.

7: Sasuke became a Rogue ninja. (Self explanatory)

8: Sasuke attack the Kages in the Kages summit which is a huge "NO", no one can have freedom after attacking the Kages. This is highly prohibited.

9: Sasuke try to capture the 4th Raikage right hand man "Killer B". Which he failed to but ended up hurting Killer B. Which lead to the 4th Raikage being furious. This lead Sasuke to a dump hole. His main goal was to bring Killer B back to the Akatsuki hideout for extraction of the 8th tails.

10: He was set number one for bounty which makes him not applicable to be a candidate for Hokage position.

How will Sasuke Suffice and condemn all these charges?

Surely there has to be some type of punishment as this is an act of an criminal.

I get where you're coming from on a lot of these points. However, I have a couple of questions to ask you. I'M NOT BASHING- let me state that before you read on and get upset. I'm not trying to make you mad, more like clarify.

2. What makes you think that it would be a communist or socialist government? What type of governments are heading the villages right now? From what I've gathered, not being like a hard to the core fan mind you, the Kage is really a kind of dictator-president. Sure, he/she has people who guide them in the right direction, but the ultimate decision is up to the Kage. Most dictators are elected or work their way up into office, just like the Kage. Let me also add that a communist/socialist government is not necessarily a bad thing unless you make it out to be. A newer smaller population is more stable with a democracy, a medium sized population is better with a dictatorship, and a larger and older population is better regulated by a communist or socialist government. It's just how it works.

So, please tell me why you think that the leaf would become a communist/socialist society and why it would be bad for the village.

I thought Madara wasn't chosen as Hokage because he wasn't voted in as Hokage. The village (even the Uchiha) knew that Hashirama (The First) was the person who founded the village. It was the second Hokage himself, a Senju, that oppressed them and put them on the backburner and let them boil. Madara initially wanted them to just leave the village, because he knew they would be
"exterminated" . This hatred towards the Uchiha caused Madara to snap and try to destroy the village.

However, Tobirama (The Second) said that Hatred was what caused the Uchiha to gain their optical powers, like you said, and Obito also said that it is because of the first "Uchiha" Indra, who wasn't chosen as the successor of the Sage of Six Paths which causes them to have the Curse of Hatred. They are also cursed with passionate love, which causes them to become volatile and evil whenever who they love the most dies. For Madara it was his brother, as we all know. So there, I guess you are right. The Uchiha are cursed with this hatred.

However, the reason Sasuke wants to become Hokage (it's not in the manga, but I'm assuming this in good faith) is so that he can remake the village over into something that isn't as tainted. He wants the village to become better, a village that wouldn't have used his brother to wipe out the Uchiha. The question then remains is, does protecting the village during this war wipe out his past crimes? Or does it do nothing for him?

I personally agree that Sasuke has done wrong after wrong and shouldn't be able to become Hokage until he proves himself otherwise. However, it's not for half of the reasons you've listed, which doesn't make them wrong...it's just personal opinion.

Great post! You have some very good points I will say. Though this is a politcal matter so of course there's going to be about a 50 50 split on this.

Although I will say I don't totally agree. Sasuke is very different than madara and the rest of the uchiha in this way. Of course he's indras reincarnation so he's obviously in a different league than the rest of the uchiha. I think itachi really touched his heart and perminately changed him. After realizing why itachi did all the stuff he did for the village I think sasuke legitimately wants the best for the shinobi world and the village because that's what itachi wanted. Also the sage himself believes in sasuke. And after seeing what the former transmigrant madara did, and how much sasuke despises him he won't walk down that same path, sasuke is special and I'm not saying this as a sasuke fanboy though I do like sasuke I'm saying this from a straight plot point of view. the whole point is to create peace where peace. I still think that naruto will become hokage and sasuke will get another power position of some sorts but I do think that sasuke could also make a great hokage, he's a genius after all who is always calm and excels in analysis. Both would make great kages

This thread made me lol sorry but dude... The whole cycle of hatred was the Uchiha being sort of neglected and not having a place in power, and Indra / Madara / Sasuke got jelous of Ashura / Hashirama / Naruto because Ashura / Hashi / Naruto got more powerfull. We all know what happened to Madara when he didn't become hokage and was kinda sorta neglected... Well look at him now.. Do you want the cycle of hatred to repeat and Sasuke to go crazy again? I'm not saying Naruto won't become hokage, this is Naruto manga anything could happen. I'm just saying there's no point for the cycle of hatred to repeat again

I'd be very upset if naruto doesn't become hokage. They better not share the title either. Naruto has been blabbing about being hokage since chapter 1. Sasuke shows up at the end saying he will be hokage and then gets it. I don't like that. Sorry kishi
