I'm curious... they state The Sims as being a 2000 game - but the portrait is of The Sims 3 - which launched in 2008 or 2009.
Anyway - I like several of the games mentioned quite a bit, and for different reasons.
Super Mario Brothers is awesome on the whole.
Call of Duty can be enjoyable if you're playing with a mature group that you don't want to come through the headset and strangle. The Zombie levels are getting to the point where they may as well produce a stand-alone.
Mario Kart is an awesome party game (the Wii and WiiU have an excellent lineup of party games that are just plain fun to have going when you've got a group of people over).
The Sims can be kind of fun - but you've got to be prepared to doll out a considerable chunk of money to get all of the fancy expansions that are or will come along (not to mention DLC out the ass). The stock games are usually pretty good (The Sims 3 was a huge step over the Sims 2 in terms of simulation environment) - but the expansions usually add quite a bit. It's a good game to kind of get lost into a sort of fantasy where you build something close to your dream home.... or where you just see how absolutely hilarious it is to screw with the lives of sims.
