Ok, wtf does this prove though? He'll still be unable to seal madara, because he doesn't have a way to see through clones, unlike madara, I think this means absolutely squat in a hypothetical fight.

yep, he had a "magic" scroll and it was barely enough to win with hard difficulty against EMS madara, edo Madara is pretty much another sage, nothing in hashirama's puny little scroll compares to edo tensei I'd wager, and anything he can throw at madara, can be countered with a multitude of techs.
