[Discussion] 1 or 2 kids of the prophecy?

So today's chapter confused me. At one moment we hear the sage saying that there is only one child of the prophecy and then a moment later he treats to both Naruto and sasuke equally and he entrusts them with the salvation of this world. So, what's going on? Is naruto the only savior or is it like with the 2 kids -Naruto and Nagato- all over again?_@:

Because in the past everything was given to Ashura and as Hagoromo explained, that was a mistake.
They will work together, Sasuke and Naruto, but Naruto is still the blue eyed boy from the prophecy.

Why would he do it all alone? Naruto's character is about teamwork. Walking out of his path of lonelyness that he was in as a kid and assembling friends around you.

Well you can't really compare the pages, the sage supposedly said to Sasuke the same things all over again, would you want to hear that? My point is that if the sage doesn't agree with Sasuke, why he still gives him his power?

You don't know what Sasuke said to him, how can you know he doesn't agree?

On the tablet was written that when the 2 opposing forces cooporate, true happiness can be achieved.
Madara made his own interpretation, by stealing one of the forces (Hashi/Ashura) and implanting that in himself (Madara/Indra).
However, Nature and Sasuke will cooporate in the first interpretation.
