Honestly, if it's real, I don't care for the people that sair that he was holding onto something unreal, fake (the ending of a manga)...

I think this was posted before - could be real, since there are documented cases of prolonged survival in anticipation of an event.

I hope at least the poor guy liked Chapter 700 more than I did.
