1/10th of katsuyu?? what??

What does Tsunade mean 1/10th of Katsuyu.. with only 2 Byakugou users.

That one looks nearly as big as the other katsuyu.. And why only 1/10th?

Katsuyu is officially the largest summoning in the whole series v_v If that gargantuan slug is only 1/10th of the real deal... The real deal must be giant as heck and if i saw it i would most likely suddenly turn into one of the characters in the manga and scream out "HACKS!!!! SHE BE HACKIN THE REAL WORLD!!! >:O"

Not really sure. I don't see why it took the two of them, as that seems to be the normal size... it seems that katsuyu is muuuuch larger than we've seen, but as this seems to be the standard size, i don't get why they couldn't summon any more of her...

It's actually only about 50% that.

While all the other summoning places have multiple creatures in the community (Gambunta, ma pa, aoda, manda etc.) the slugs only have one. Because when you think about it, they all would have the same abilities anyway. (And logically they would all be able to merge.) So katsuya being about 10 times her size makes up for the fact they their are not more of her kind.

Probably because Katsuyu is so large that she requires a high amount of chakara to summon.

So to make up for this she would divide her main body into various sizes to fit the summon requirements.

But if two people with enough chakara and the summoning contract summon in unison they can summon a bigger portion of her.

I would say the waist, seeing as Full Kurama was about the size of the smaller hands of the Buddha.

Well I'm assuming that shes stronger than the other summons of the Sanins. Seeing as Orochimaru was talking to her in kind of respect.

He mentioned it when they arrived to help Tsunade. He also mentioned the link between shikkotsu forest. Since then now all of a sudden Tsunade is making emphasis on summoning katsuyu from shikkotsu forest. Coincidence? Maybe but that is the boring way of thinking about it :3

Yes I am, because upon going for tsunade we find out:

1) slugs come from there
2) they are linked to the seal
3) the slugs that are summoned are usually a piece of the real thing

Then recently:

Tsunade comes and now shes mentioning shikkotsu forest like its nothing, this has been kept from us the entire manga(although anyone who could connect the dots would have figured it out).

Lack of chakra? Well today Tsunade proved (and Sakura) You can open the seal jusst enough to utilise the chakra without fully letting the seal loose to use some technique(CR , byakugo).

I don't really want to call what it possibly is SSM, but we will see something to do with the whole thing soon i'm almost positive.

I want Tsunade to do it though. Her kage title needs some cement for the doubters.
