A Korean movie whose title I don't recall. Movie revolved around a girl who transferred to a new school and transformed herself a little in hopes she'd be treated differently and unprecedentedly becomes the center of attraction of two of the new school's popular "hotties", one an equivalent of the cool, cold-shouldered brooding guy with jet-black hair, and the other the more light-hearted personality who wouldn't do anything wrong

I enjoyed it. It's definitely a strange post-apocalyptic thought; but, yes, it is based on the novel though they changed some things as Hollywood has often done. I'm not sure exactly of how many changes, I'll have to let you know. I just purchased the book and plan to read it.
I just watched Aquaman, probably one of the better DC movies though I think Wonder Woman may still have it beat for best DC,
