Appearance: Ryohei appears as a fine man of muscular build and above average height. Ever since he was young, he trains in boxing to maintain this image. He has short silver hair which has earned him the name "Turf top" by Gokudera Hayato, and wears a small bandage on his nose. His outfits changed regularly, but usually kept an consensus of orange/red jackets and denim shorts. He wears multiple bandages around his hands, to keep the appearance that he is first and foremost, a boxer. He has a faint scar above his left eye from a fight he got into when he was younger protecting his sister, Kyoko who blames herself for it.
Personality: Ryohei is generally enthusiastic at everything he does. His motto is to live "to the extreme" (Kyokugen) and shows this in everything he does. As a result, he sees any disadvantages as opportunities to improve his fighting. This has been shown when he ran into a zoo once hoping to fight a lion, and fought a bear instead. A big part of Ryohei's persona is that he's hot-headed. He can get worked up easily from his friends just calling him names. His enthusiasm leads him to not entirely assessing the situation at hand, and usually ending up injured as a result.
He seems to show no weakness to anyone due to his enthusiasm for everything he does, living to the extreme. Ryohei does seem to have a weakness for his sister, Kyoko. He get's extremely worried about her if anything were to happen to her. He conceals his actions towards Kyoko for fear that she will get involved and get herself hurt, and that he couldn't live with himself if anything would happen to her. He generally uses up the lie that he's participating in boxing spars or sumo matches, so she doesn't become worried for him.

"My name is Sasagawa Ryohei, my motto is 'to the extreme'!"
Ryohei, as far as everyone was aware was born in Kirigakure, and lived with his sister, Kyoko. He had always been protective of his little sister, even with her kind attitude towards everyone. No one knows where his personality stems from, but maybe it's the drive for protecting his sister from the dangers of the world. He attended the shinobi academy like everyone else in his year, with his sister being a grade lower than him. His block-headedness meant he wasn't the brightest kid in the class, but he did well enough to pass at a mediocre level and become a fully-fledged shinobi for his nation; his village.
A devastating tragedy happened around a bad time in Kirigakure's history, the annihalation of the Kaguya clan. His parents were unfortunately caught up in the warfare as mere casualties, and died as a result. Even his sister, Kyoko was caught out by them and him, naturally went to her rescue. He was able to get his sister back from these shinobi, but ended with a permanent scar on his left temple. Kyoko blames herself for the fight to this day. This major event caused two problems with him and his sister. The first being is that he grows weak and over-protective if anything were to happen to her, and secondly, he refuses to fight people seriously unless it's for someone important. This specific trait relies in someone from history who he is said to resemble strongly, Knuckle. He was a man who also loved to fight, and gave it all up after incapacitating someone in a taijutsu spar.
Nowadays, Ryohei resides in Kirigakure, constantly striving to grow stronger to protect Kyoko, and with her support they live together quietly.
Abilities
Lightning ReleaseThrough vigorous training for many years, Ryohei has developed a natural talent for the Lightning Release. With the specific element being his natural affinity, he's grown a fixation to the element, and will generally fight with it. His lightning jutsu will generally take formation at a lightning fast pace (pun intended), and grow faster than someone without the natural affinity for the element.

Ryohei has grown up in Kirigakure for his entire life, making him naturally adapt to the Hidden Mist Technique. While he still can't see perfectly through the mist, he's capable of making out slight shadows of people when in close range, as well as relying on other senses, primarily hearing to maneuver through it.
Adaptability
Ryohei is an athletic sportsman, and naturally runs as a fitness exercise. He does partake in morning runs around Kirigakure, and pretty much knows the entire nation by pure memory alone.
Although Ryohei was one who usually fought using his fists, he will sometimes carry a standard bokuto with him if required.

Fun Facts:
- Ryohei has many different nicknames, given to him by all his friends.
- Ryohei doesn't appear to have a weakness, but was revealed to be his sister crying.
- Ryohei's pride is that he will fight 1 on 1 as a boxer.
- Ryohei is a horrible swimmer, twitching as he sinks to the bottom of the pool. He doesn't seem to realise this and ironically works part-time as a lifeguard.
