Looks: Kisuke Urahara is a tall and lean-built man with light skin and gray eyes. His hair is messy and light-blond (almost pale) with strands framing the sides of the face and hanging between his eyes and chin stubble. He always wears traditional Japanese wooden sandals (geta) and a bucket hat that usually shadows his eye, which has earned him the nickname "sandal-hat". He also wears a dark green shirt and pants, topped with a black coat with a white diamond pattern along its bottom half. Urahara has also carries a fan which he uses to occasionally hide his face.
Personality: Although he is usually seen as a laid-back, jovial fellow, Urahara also shows a deceptively cunning and serious side when the situation warrants it. His intelligence is also exceedingly high, possibly even exceeding that of Shikaku Nara. He commonly uses idle conversation and outward concern as an act of distracting his opponents. Despite his care-free attitude, he always speaks politely, but is sometimes sarcastic. He tends to go over the top with whatever he becomes passionate about. He once described himself as a "mere honest, handsome, perverted businessman."
However, during his childhood, he is viewed as a nervous, flustered, and quiet kid. He is even somewhat unsure of himself and lacks confidence in his ability to be a good ninja. In addition, he is commonly confused with how to deal with situations, and is easily overwhelmed by others. He became more confident only after spending 5 years outside the Hidden Leaf. He also began to warm up to the other Nara clan members.

History:
The Tale of Kisuke Urahara
Kisuke was born roughly around the time Shikaku Nara was born. His parents died in the Third Great Shinobi World War and Kisuke was left an orphan. He grew up together with Shikaku Nara. Although he was well cared for and led a good life, he always felt out of place. He was envious of Shikaku having parents, and whenever he thought about that fact, ran away from the Nara Family for a few days. He spent most of his time in the forest, away from the family and tended to the deer. He went to the academy as per normal, and never really showed his great intelligence.
He led a normal life, rather lonely, for 20 years. When he turned 21, Kisuke decided to travel around the Ninja World, away from the village to broaden his mind and learn new things.On his journey, he met many people, and became more serious. He also met Jiraiya, one of the Legendary Sannins on his journey. He learned Jiraiya's pervy ways and became a pervert. After 5 years, Kisuke decided it was time to go back to the village.
Return to the Hidden Leaf
Kisuke went back to the village after 5 years of wandering around. Upon coming back to the Nara Family House, he was warmly welcomed back and a feast was waiting for him. Kisuke felt very touched and from that day onwards, became closer to the Nara Family. For the next few years, Kisuke continued to live a normal life. Everything was peaceful, and now, his story continues on...
