➣ Appearance ➟ Byakuya has slate gray eyes and long black hair, which he keeps up in intricate white headpieces called kenseikan, which symbolize his nobility as the head of the Lotus, wearing one on top of his head and another two on the right side. In addition to the standard black hakama and white coat, he wears a white scarf. The scarf is made from silver-white, windflower light silk (ginpaku kazahana no uzuginu.) A black symbol of a Lotus flower can be seen on the back of his pearl white long coat that symbolizes his pride for the group, and the Amegakure headband hanging upon his neck behind his scarf.
➣ Personality ➟ Byakuya acts in an aristocratic manner. He always seems serene and apathetic towards other people, even while actually deeply conflicted. He is notably calm, even in battle. He generally acts indifferent, bordering on arrogance, to most situations he is faced with, and rarely views his opponent as being worth his time. Byakuya is easily offended if his name is not used properly. Byakuya is very perceptive, fully aware of the limits of his abilities, and anything he states in comparison to an opponent is usually justified. Byakuya retains a formal tone, always using "watashi" which is a formal way of referring to oneself. When he was younger, he was quick to anger and very hot-headed, as noted by his grandfather.

The beginning !
History | 歴史
Byakuya was born into a unknown location nearest to the seas of Amegakure where it always rained. As a child he played with his sister, Rukia Kuchiki, every day till the age of 15 where he would eventually move out to pursue dreams for the future. Heading to the village of Amegakure first he was greeted with kind words and welcomed hands, however, the rain gave birth to a new perspective, gradually as he saw wars and battles collide he became more aristocratic with age. His love for flowers grew even stronger by the age of 20 although he always loved flowers but was too scared to take care of them or even buy them for that matter due to the constant rain. It was at the age of 21 that he decided that he would create a place remotely located near Konohagakure to plant and take care for his love of flowers. Traveling between Amegakure and Konoha he seen many horrors, murder, rape, and even greed. It didn't take him long to snap and take action, a week of experiencing the sins of humans is what pushed him over.
It was a day, just like any other sunny day on the road when a old woman was attacked and swiftly murdered for small amounts of money and food. It was at this time that he decided to take action and kill the thieves with his katana that he had practiced with heavily back when he was younger and still living with his sister. These events continued over and over again each and everyday where Byakuya would save people on the road. It was at the age of 24 that he decided to expand his good doings globally and thus he created the group ''White Lotus'' so others may spread peace throughout the ninja world.
