Kenpachi is a muscular Shinobi with a wild and aggressive appearance that fits his personality. He has a long face with pronounced cheekbones and pronounced hairless eyebrow ridges. He has green eyes, with long and stringy black hair. A noticeable trait in his appearance is his long thin scar running down the left side of his face, which he gained sometime during a battle. He is also one of the tallest Shinobi, towering at 202 centimeters (approximately 6 feet 6 inches), making him almost double the height of his comrades. His stature is often exaggerated even more for dramatic purposes. He wears a sleeveless captain's haori that has a ragged look to it and wears a special eyepatch on his right eye.

人格|PERSONALITY

: Zaraki appears to be a laid-back and irreverent individual at first glance, but this scruffy exterior hides his brutal, impulsive, excessively-violent personality and a lethally-short temper. However, despite his aggression and obvious blood lust in battle, Zaraki possesses a feral cunning and has a knack for quickly exploiting any opening his opponent reveals. In addition, he is blunt, sarcastic, and quite sadistic, revealing a psychotic grin or laughing maniacally whenever he becomes excited. He is also very rude and quite disrespectful. Zaraki uses none of the honorifics in the Japanese language, except when addressing SY or Scorps (though he is quick to discard the formality when they are not around), and refers to to women shinobi as "woman" in conversation. Zaraki displays little respect for authority and says whatever is on his mind.

History

Zaraki was born into an infamous clan and was lucky enough to be born with the dark release Kekkei Genkai thus one of his primary dreams was always to become the strongest Dark release user in history and be the proud head of the clan. His father was what he called a "Shitty excuse of a ninja" because he wasn't "badass enough" in Zaraki's eyes, his mother on the other hand was a top class member of Kiri's anbu and was considered to be a genius in the eyes of all of her peers. By the time Zaraki was 5 he had already figured out he had inherited his mothers smarts and ability to quickly pick up on skills. Being one of the most skilled young non-shinobi around he began acting out and believing himself to be above most people around him including his parents. This lead to him becoming emotionally distant from both his mom and dad and soon began a small series of killings. His mother soon figured out that her young son was responsible for these killings and also noticed his lack of nobility and superior outlook on the world. With those things noticed she felt she should take him to an old friend of hers that became Kage of a village in the fire country. She thought that sending the 5 year old, narcissistic Zaraki to Konoha would help his problems. Zaraki would then live the rest of his life loyal to Konoha.
