She wears the school uniform, sporting white loose/slouch socks and brown loafers with a light brown vest sweater over a white blouse and a grey skirt.
While in Snake Sage Mode, her normally soft brown eyes have transformed into golden irises with slit pupils, reflecting the heightened perception and predatory focus of a serpent. Red markings beneath her eyes extend toward her cheeks, a sign of natural energy flowing through her body and balancing with her chakra. Her attire—loose beige robes with dark green trim and a sash—blends seamlessly with the snake motif, evoking the image of a shrine maiden turned serpent warrior.

Misaka Mikoto is the daughter of Misaka Tabigake and Misaka Misuzu, a modest family of merchants in the Land of Lightning. Even as a child, she demonstrated prodigious talent in chakra control and elemental manipulation. At the age of seven, she was accepted into the Ninja Academy, a prestigious training school for young shinobi prodigies, where she quickly distinguished herself as a child of exceptional promise. As an academy student, she rapidly progressed through the academy’s grading system due to her natural aptitude, eventually graduating by age eight, a feat unmatched by most peers.
Her unmatched talent and rapid growth made her a prime candidate for the Replication Project, a secretive military program designed to reproduce powerful abilities for use in battle. Believing the program to be a way to aid those suffering from disease or injury, Mikoto willingly submitted to initial testing, allowing her genetics to be studied for potential replication. At the age of twelve, Mikoto enrolled in Tokiwadai Military Academy for Advanced Shinobi, a school reserved for elite young prodigies.
