Basic Information

Looks: Gin is fairly ordinary in terms of clothing, and he doesn't wear any unique items. His overall appearance, however, is not as normal. He keeps his eyes constantly narrowed to slits, rarely ever opening his eyes enough to visibly reveal their bright sky blue-color. Although he appears to be an early to mid twenty-year-old person, he is unusually thin and tall with very sharp features giving him a skeletal appearance. He bears unusual silver hair (his name refers to his hair color; gin [銀] is Japanese for silver). He also keeps his face set in a wide mocking smile, which he only wipes off on rare occasions of annoyance, surprise, confusion, or even sadness.

The hilt of his blade is visible sticking out from under the robe through the opening down to his waist. Later Gin is seen wearing a white hakama, instead of the black ones he was last seen in. Gin wears his robe open in a narrow 'V' down to his waist, closed to below the hips, and then open again to the hem, which falls about mid-calf. His robe has long bell sleeves, into which he hides his hands like some do with kimono sleeves. The lining of the robe and edges or layers of the under-robe(s) appear to be black.

Personality: Gin is one of the most mysterious Shinobi in the series, since his almost constant smile and slitted eyes, combined with his heavy use of sarcasm and mocking politeness, make it very difficult to discern his thoughts. Many find his demeanor and appearance rather unsettling and there are very few who were willing to trust him even before he was revealed as a traitor. Gin seems to be fully aware of the effect he has on others and more than once has been seen toying with people's emotional states for his own amusement. A ninja noted to herself that she felt like she was being strangled by snakes whenever he spoke, even if he was not speaking to her directly. Gin speaks with a distinct Kyoto dialect, which is polite but indirect.

History:

Prologue, enter Gin Ichimaru.

Born in a Island of Gyojin's, Gin 'Ichimaru' Gyojin was smart but fearless of anything. Gin had no one to rely on, since his parents died when he was young until he found a man named Loki. Once, he had met a girl whose name was Rangiku who grew very precious to him, but to get stronger and to protect himself Gin had decided to become a ninja. It wasn't long until he was a very knowledgeable kid. He studied different things, but rarely cared for them. His mentor, Loki had taught him a special ability to his clan that was called Gyojin Karate. Due to Gin being so little he had a low rank of the Gyojin's and could only learn some parts to a extent. Later on, it was time for Gin to leave, of course he left without anyone knowing, but that would have been the only way for him to learn and become a ninja.

As years progressed Gin was 14. He was wandering, clueless. It took him time to swim to the main borderlands but he was capable of doing so by being a Gyojin having the similarities to a fishman. Gathering information on things he hadn't seen in person, it was night time before he knew it. He heard strange noises so quickly ran behind a bush, peeking through to see what was going on. It was a all broken out fight. A greened hair person who wore a hat with a cloak attire and a another guy who seemed pretty normal. Hours the fight progressed and finally it was over, though, the green haired man who obviously stood victorious noticed Gin before the fight even got serious. Come out whoever might you be. The guy remarked as Gin had no choice but to do so as he had been found out. Little by little, the man took a liking to Gin and it seemed he went by the name of Hazama Kiyoshi as well. He and Gin were very similar in personality and the way they do things, so Hazama took him under his wing by being invited into Iwagakure. Normally, he'd went to school, and graduated in one year due to his knowledge and smartness and superior skills in battle.

After getting out of the ninja academy and stuff related to that Gin knew he had to train. A man named Nathan had roamed around the village of Iwagakure one day and offered Gin training in the element of water upon request by Hazama himself and after three months of training he mastered it and became fully capable of performing the techniques with a faster rate of hand seals, and also was trained in Lightning. He had found a special affinity for that one, being able to perform all techniques with a single hand seal. Years later he mastered just about all of the basics. He walked and fought onside with Hazama, as if he was his right hand man and his personal student. Traveling throughout the borders of Iwa one day, Hazama and Gin had encountered some ninja from the village of Kirigakure. Gin could only wonder what was to come....peace, war, it was all just something that he had to figure out...

Lightning Release: Gin is exceptionally gifted at suiton, having it both as a specialty and first affinity he can perform all lightning jutsu with but one handseal. Heisuke managed to harness his lightning chakra properly after training vigoursly and soon grew to be adept in the use of lightning. He often practices his lightning jutsu and with help has gained a fair understanding of the lightning element.

Water Release: Being a Gyojin it had made since that Gin would have a thing for water. Gin had specialized in the water element to the point where he can perform all the water jutsu there is with faster hand seals if some are needed.

Weaponry: Gin carries a variety of weapons with him at all times, varying between flash bombs, explosive tags, smoke bombs and others. His favorite weapons are a Wakizashi which he carries on the left side of his hip.

Summoning: On the inside of his lower left arm Gin bears a tattoo which resembles a Snake and by swiping his blood across it Gin is able to summon a wide variety of Snakes to aid him in battle as well as use a variety of unique techniques related to them. Snakes are able to detect live beings by their heat and smell in order to track and lead their summoners to their prey.
