土遁 [Earth;Doton] -Slicks-

*I take the scroll, unfold it and hold it in the palm of my left hand. I then gather a portion of my chakra, channel it through my chakra network and into my right hand, which I place on the scroll and release the chakra into it. After that I place the scroll onto the ground in front of me and take a few steps backwards to observe what will happen. As your clone gets into close range of the scroll, his chakra is detected and the scroll activates, releasing three wolves made of mud that dash towards your clone and attack him.*

List some advantages and disadvantages, also some ways you would counter if your opponent used this against you.

Advantages:

- The wolves will be repaired immediately when they are damaged.
- When the trap activates, the wolves will be released without being one of the three moves per turn and stay for two turns.​

Disadvantages:

- The scroll needs to be prepared for one turn before it can be activated.
- The trap activates when the opponent's chakra gets into short range of the scroll. If it's not hidden properly my enemy can see the scroll and avoid getting near it. If my opponent has the ability to sense chakra he'll keep distance either way.​

Ways to couter:

- I would use earth techniques to disable the wolves to attack me. I'd use a jutsu to either trap them in a prison of earth pillars or make the ground below them sink beneath the surface.
- Another way is to destroy the scroll because the jutsu should be canceled when that happens. I think I'd use a kunai with an explosive tag attached to it.​

Well put, the same things I had in mind. Earth Release Armour is a justsu which allows the user to coat himself with solid rocks. These rocks greatly increase defensive abilities, allowing you to tank certain techniques, even a Chakra Rasengan. Since it's the Earth element, you would be vulnerable to Lightning Jutsu since they can destroy the armour and strike you if it's strong enough. The user creates the armour form his chakra, so an Earth source isn't needed, the appearance is like rocks growing out of your body to form a coat. You can also coat specific parts of your body, eg. the hand.

Description: This Technique coats the users body with stones, making them much more resistant to attacks, at the cost of their speed. Whilst using this technique, the user can even change their appearance, but once the technique is either defeated or worn off the users original appearance is shown. The user whilst in this armor is resistant to A rank normal ninjutsu but is vulnerable to Lightning Techniques.

To perform this jutsu, channel your gathered Earth chakra throughout your chakra network. Evenly distribute the chakra to each chakra point around your body, then focus on molding it. By molding the chakra into Earth properties, create an Earth coating around you which creates a good defense. Physical attacks are also stronger since the Earth has additional mass. By further manipulating the Earth, you can change it's appearance to look like someone else.

*I gather earth chakra within my body and channel it through my chakra network, distributing it evenly amongst my chakra points. I then release the chakra, forming a coat around my body and mold it to apply the properties of earth to my chakra, creating an armor made of earth, that covers my body. I feel its weight which would grant additional force to taijutsu attacks but also slows down my movement speed. I then further manipulate the the earth to change my appearance, taking the looks of an old man I met once outside Konoha. After a few seconds I end the technique and return to my original appearance.*

Good. Whenever the technique is ended or destroyed, it crumbles to the ground. It can even effortlessly tank a Chakra Rasengan as I've seen in the anime. If your opponent used this jutsu, what would you use to smash it?

Even a Rasengan? O_O That's impressive.
If my opponent used the technique, I would most likely use a lightning jutsu C-Rank or above to destroy the armor.

Yeah, it can hold up against a rasengan , the Chakra One.This jutsu creates a self-repairing Earth Dome which traps the opponent(s) inside. Creating the dome, it's the same method we used with the Earth Release: Earth Dome Technique or the Earth Release: Earth Shelter Technique. Another ability apart from self-repair, is the ability to absorb the chakra of anyone inside the barrier, eventually draining them.

Description: After striking the ground with their hands, the user overturns the earth, causing it to rise up around his opponent(s). Then, by placing his/her hands against the dome, the user is able to drain out the chakra from the people trapped inside and absorb it into their own body. At the same time, the user will use their own chakra to spread throughout the dome. This allows the user to repair any damage their opponent(s) manage to inflict on the inside.

To perform this jutsu, strike the ground with both arms. By doing this, manipulate a portion of your Earth chakra, channel it through your chakra netowrk, through your arms and into the ground, Once the chalra is in the ground, manipulate the Earth with it. Shape the Earth, manipulating sections to rise and curve in to make a dome. Once the dome is created, place your hands directly on the dome to constantly stream some chakra into it. If certain techniques are used to damage it, you can repair it immediately with the chakra.

I then move towards the dome and place my right palm on its surface and continuously channel chakra into it. That allows me to drain the chakra of everyone inside the dome and also to notice when the prison is damaged, making me able to repair it immediately.*

A clash between C Rank Lightning and B Rank Earth will basically cancel both jutsu, but in this case, the earth can regenerate. It will take something that can do more, B rank lightning should be enough to actual smash it. It would be best to just pass through the dome with Earth Release: Hiding in Rock Technique or to go underground and emerge outside of the dome with Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique.

Earth Spear, this jutsu hardens the skin to steel-like quality, enhancing the user's offensive and defensive capabilities. We've done a similar technique earlier, Earth Release: Armor. Like the other defensive Earth jutsu, this one also leaves the user vulnerable to Lightning Techniques.

(Doton: Domu) – Earth Release: Earth Spear Technique

Description: After performing the Snake hand seal the user will channel their chakra throughout their entire body, which then hardens their skin to a steel-like quality. This increases their defensive power to the utmost limits. The user’s skin also becomes much darker, an almost black colour. The destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great, all purpose technique. But this technique when activated leaves the user vulnerable to lightning based techniques.

To perform this one, channel your gathered chakra and channel it throughout your chakra network, be sure to evenly allocate chakra to each chakra point in your body. With enough concentration, mold the chakra so that it hardens rapidly which eventually makes your entire body hard. This technique also changes your appearance, your skin becomes dark. Unlike the Earth Armor Jutsu, this one doesn't slow you down. It's overall a better jutsu to use and can be cancelled quickly when there's the need to.

*I gather a portion of my doton chakra and channel it through my chakra network, trying to evenly distribute it to each chakra point. I then add pressure and mold the chakra to apply the properties of earth to it, darkening my skin and hardening it to a steel-like quality.
When compared to the Earth Release: Armor, I feel much lighter and my speed is still the same. I then cancel the jutsu as quickly as I performed it and my appearance returns to its original state.*

Earth Release: Rock Trail is a jutsu in which the user manipulates large rocks to erupt from the earth to strike the opponent. It's a simple jutsu, but can come in handy.

To perform it, channel your gathered Earth chakra through your chakra network and into the Earth below. Once the chakra is in the Earth, use it to create a focal point below the opponent, which is my clone. Use the chakra to manipulate the Earth to create rocks which rise upwards to strike the enemy. [Creates clone]

*I gather doton chakra within my stomach and channel it through my chakra network and into my hands. I then slam my hands of the ground to release the chakra into the earth below me and use it to create a focal point below your clone. Once the focal is created I use the chakra to manipulate the earth , to make rock rise from the ground beneath your clone, striking him and sending him flying backwards.*

Moving with the next jutsu, Sticky Earth Drop. This technique deals with creating an opening in the sky, from this opening, the user will release an extremely large amount of mud which falls onto the opponent to cover him. If caught under the mud, the opponent can suffocate, the mud will also greatly slow him down if he's caught in any. This jutsu is shown to be used as a combo with Lightning Release: Sixteen Pillar Bind and Fire Release: Fire Biscuit. Heating the mud causes it to solidify.

Description: The user creates an opening within the sky, which drips down onto the opponent a large amount of mud, covering them. It’s normally followed up by Lightning release: sixteen pillar bind to create a giant oven around the opponent and then using Fire release: Firing biscuit technique to ignite the oven, hardening the mud and immobilizing the enemy target.

Gather your chakra then proceed to channel it through your chakra network and into the atmosphere, the air above the target. Use the chakra to create an opening which seems like a portal. Withthis opening, further manipulate the chakra to release a large amount of mud in aim of covering the opponent. [Creates a clone, then uses the transformation technique to make him look like a monster]

*I gather a portion of my chakra and channel it through my chakra network and into the air above your transformed clone. After creating a focal point with my chakra I manipulate it to form an opening within the sky. I then use nature transformation to create a large amount of mud that drops from the opening and onto the monster, covering it with mud that restricts its movements.*

Well done. If that jutsu was used against you, how would you evade or counter?

Um, I guess the easiest way would be to merge into the ground as soon as the opening is created within the air. I could also use the earth shelter technique to hide from the mud. Other than that a lightning technique, C-rank or higher, should be able to cancel the earth jutsu.

Well done, also remember the mud's fall is not so quick, and hence you can time an attack that would, rather than just evade or defend it, send the mud back at your opponent himself. Anyways moving on.

Using the same basis principle of the previous jutsu, send your chakra into the atmosphere to form a somewhat network. Then summon a portal in front of your opponent. Through the portal this time however, manipulate the chakra to release not mud, but a giant, boar-shaped lid that falls down onto your opponent. The technique is commonly used to trap the opponent due the shape and description. But if you summon the lid at an angle so that the outline of the shape would make contact with your opponent, it'd inflict damage.
