APPEARANCE: Ichibē is a large and broad individual with a bald head, red eyes, bushy eyebrows and a long black beard. He wears a black kimono beneath a white, long-sleeved haori decorated with the Royal Guard's emblem. The top of his uniform is open enough to expose his hairy chest. He also wears a large set of red prayer beads around his neck and a pair of single-toothed tengu geta.
PERSONALITY: Ichibē is an authoritative figure who remains focused on the mission at hand. He speaks in a loud and upfront manner and usually has an upbeat expression on his face. However, in battle, he is ruthless and somewhat patronizing, though he constantly smiles throughout his fights. It was noted that he becomes much happier when he has resolved to kill someone. He displays a patronizing kindness toward his opponents.

HISTORY: Ichibē was one of the wealthiest men in Kumogakure. He was a former merchant who traded across the seas of Kumogakure. He controls the oceans and the ships, which is why he learn Ninjutsu to fend off pirates. When Kumogakure wanted to rob other nations of their secret Ninjutsu, they would request Ichibē for his ships. However, Kumogakure was gathering too much debt because how expensive Ichibē was, so Ichibē turned them down. When the Raikage got ahold of the news, he thought it was an insult, so he seized Ichibē's fortune and sold it to a religious sect. Eager for revenge, Ichibē joined the religious sect, climb through its ranks as High Priest and then slaughtered the people in the temple.
