Shinon can be simply described as a self-absorbed and arrogant person. It’s no wonder, considering his high intellect and sometimes self-destructive overconfidence. He holds himself second to none and often speaks sarcastically, belittling those who get on his nerves. Shinon is also quite unmotivated and would only take time off from training or relaxation to fill his wallet.

>History
Shinon was born into the Nara clan of Konohagakure. As a child he had a easygoing attitude and enjoyed a life of relaxation. He had always been fond of reading, music, and especially hunting. He was mentored for a short time by an old man named Innes who guided him though the basics of hunting, trap making, and archery. Shinon loved archery and would practice often after receiving his own bow and arrows.
From an early age there were indications that Shinon would turn out to be someone unique. Whenever he was taught something new, he would seem to automatically understand it with no trouble later on. He was also capable of solving puzzles designed for people several years older than him. Some even called him a prodigy but Shinon was indifferent towards his analytical talents and tried to live out his childhood as any kid would.
At the age of 10, Shinon graduated from the ninja academy after much coaxing from his clan members to get enrolled in the first place. His squad members were Gatrie Akimichi and Llyana Yamanaka, forming an Ino-Shika-Chō trio. Both of his teammates ate a lot, something which Shinon often criticized them for and forced him to hide his food at times. For some reason, no matter how much Llyana ate, she didn't seem to gain weight; unlike Gatrie who was big, overweight, and would fight with Llyana over food. Despite their frequent arguments, they made an excellent team.
When Shinon was 12 years old he noticed a boy 4 years younger than him who would watch him practicing his archery. The boy's name was Rolf and he wanted Shinon to teach him how to use a bow. The boy annoyed him at first and was turned down constantly, but Rolf was persistent. Eventually Shinon agreed to teach Rolf and began to think of him as his little brother.
Nine years later Shinon become a successful hunter-nin known for his skill with a bow and the Nara clan's jutsu. He and his former teammates agreed they needed to become stronger individually and decided on leaving Konoha to start their lives anew. Shinon knew Rolf would want to come with him so he reluctantly left in secret.
He soon gained entry to Kumogakure which was exactly how he imagined it, living up in the clouds among the greats. However, after witnessing a long string of village conflicts Shinon’s paradise lost its luster and became unbearable for him. This spurred another journey across countries eventually leading him to his new home, Amegakure.

In order to combat fire release users Shinon’s water release is developed to the point of only requiring one handseal to perform them.
>Wind
Shinon’s natural affinity for wind allows him to perform faster handseals for wind jutsu. Slight changes in wind speed and direction can be noticed as well.

After years of practicing the Nara clan's shadow jutsu and developing techniques of his own Shinon skillfully manipulates shadows with hardly any effort.
>Archery
Shinon is unmatched in shooting speed and accuracy whether day or night. With honed visual perception and naturally perfect eyesight, even flies make easy targets for him. As a master of the Sniper Arts, Shinon exhibits increased tracking speeds which helps him keep up with faster targets.
>Hunting Instinct
As an experienced hunter Shinon has a habit of moving silently and using senses other than sight to locate his enemies, though this is still a far cry from people like the Inuzuka clan. He also has knowledge of trap-making.
>Curse Mark of Heaven
A Curse Mark lies on his right shoulder that looks like a plus with a crescent shaped ring in the center. With Level 1 activated a pattern of black markings resembling stitches spreads across his skin. With Level 2 activated Shinon’s skin turns a pale gray, his sclera become black, and his irises appear larger. In addition, 4 flexible spring-like limbs grow out around his waist already coiled and compact with sharp talons at the end of each. They can be extended up to 20 ft from him and retracted just as quickly. Each of these limbs is strong enough to easily lift a single person caught in its grasp. While in this state, Shinon's water jutsu appear dark and clouded.

>Weaponry
A bladed bow called the Seeker of Darkness is kept on his back or an ordinary bow with the same design. His quiver is rectangular and filled with metal arrows that have various customizations including arrows following a curved path instead of strait, some containing hidden explosives, and others with different arrowheads. These arrows can all be used with the Shadow Imitation Shuriken Technique along with his other tools.
Besides the standard ninja tools Shinon carries senbon, two tanto, and flash bombs that can release light for several seconds. Two of them are embedded in the back of Shinon’s hands and can be replaced after detonation. He always wears a pair of goggles around his neck to protect his eyes from bright light. A few senbon are also hidden in Shinon’s mouth that can be infused with chakra from there.

Description: This sacred bow has been passed down through generations of the Nara clan. It is pitch black with a bladed edge on the front of it and it made of lightweight but durable metal capable of having chakra channeled into it. It was said to have been originally white and gained its dark color by absorbing the chakra of its owners which in turn increases their skill in manipulating shadows. While in possesion of the bow the user's shadow jutsu won't require handseals. They can be "shot" from the bow or its shadow by drawing and releasing the bowstring. The speed of the jutsu shot is increased to that of a flying arrow and is allowed to reach long range. This bow also heightens the restricting ability of shadow jutsu. If a non-Nara clan member willingly touches the bow, he won't be able to move until he is separated from it.
