The real one then stops at the edge of short range as well, starting to fire a barrage of kunai at the target.

Description: The usage of this technique lies with the user activating one of their Dark Marks, on either of his hands. Upon the activation, it will stay active for four turns. The functional Dark Mark will take the manifestation of dark purple chakra surrounding the user's arm, and will serve as an active Inhaling Maw which automatically absorbs elements and ranks according to the S&W scheme (A-rank for strengths and so on) without the user needing to. Simply put, the user won't bother directing his arm outwards to absorb, but the vivid dark chakra around his arm will do the job for him. This means that the user can carry on with other actions as Guardian Angel does its job. Should any absorbable technique come within the short range of the user, it will immediately get absorbed by the dark chakra. This ability can also extract the physical and spiritual energy from chakra infused weapons. The user, however, won't be able to use his releasing ability on the chosen Dark Mark, but the other Dark Mark can still be used.
With the sacrifice of chakra each turn, the user will only be able to absorb up to A rank techniques per turn. The technique will not stop once it has absorbed an A rank technique, but it will simply not be able to absorb anymore during that turn. Can be deactivated at will.

After sealing off his escape, Kyogen swiftly waves the Ram then Snake seal, creating a portal in the opening space above Overhaul's position. The air above Overhaul became distorted and tear, which summon a sticky mud that appears out of nowhere. The massive volume of liquid earth cascade down with a gush that would envelop Overhaul, causing the thick mud to crush him underneath.

Furthermore it will only work with techniques that are released from the body rather than the ground, the sky or portals. Fire and Lightning techniques which meet the above criteria will be released as Meiton jutsu from one of the user's dark marks in the form of purple flames or violet lightning to signify their change into Dark Release. Quickly assessing the fast-approaching and altering dynamic blacken Jutsu, Kyogen briskly reacted by slamming his hands on the ground, creating a quarter-section of a dome to emerge from the earth which acts as a barrier against the fierce attack. Immediately after the Earth Jutsu erect, Kyogen created a doppelganger made of mud adjacent to himself. As the Earth Shadow Clone appeared, Kyogen handed the clone a kunai and then sprints to the right from out behind the earth dome, drawing Overhauls attention. Instead of advancing towards Overhaul, Kyogen steered further right maneuvering long-range on Overhaul's left flank. After Kyogen distracts Overhaul, peeping from behind the earth dome, the Earth Shadow Clone saw his window and dash out into the opening, advancing at high speeds towards Overhaul's foremost with a kunai. The Earth Shadow Clone throw the kunai, shooting the projectile towards Overhaul's head, aiming to draws attention away from Kyogen. Meanwhile, following the kunai flung, Kyogen shifts towards Overhaul and wave the Rat seal, creating a pit at the center of the field between the Earth Shadow Clone and Overhaul, where it expands and engulf the surrounding area which would drag and entrap Overhaul to the center, suffocating him underground. Kyogen watches from afar as the pit reaches 10 in diameters and over 15 meters deep.

The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the technique.
