To begin: Neither side has sound knowledge of their opponents arsenal yet the opposing teams Kisame and Itachi holds intel on the Legendary Sannin's moniker; meaning there is no reason to withhold. With his fighting style remaining constant [in such a match], Kisame begins with covering the battle field and 50 meters followed up placing both hands on the waters surface initiating ; and while wielding Samehada, he then proceeds with ; traveling jointly with the Shark-kuchiyose a few meters ahead; below the surface. Alternately, Itachi utilizes his to follow along side Kisame; a bunshin neither Jiraiya nor Tsunade would be able to distinguish. Samehada and Kisame's ability to absorb chakra will be a malefactor for both Jiraiya who will be heavily utilizing Ninjutsu as well as Tsunade who will be depending on chakra enhanced physical attacks. Jiraiya would not be able to get as far as Sennin Modo as it require's him to be still and gather Shizen Enerugi for some periods of time; something that would be impossible given the initial circumstances and Itachi's intellect along with possessed sharingan abilities. Kisame is initially in control of the battle field giving him the ability to attack from both above and below the surface as well as having a larger number of summons than any other individual on the battle field. Differently, Jiraiya does not possess the ability to regenerate physical harm and blood loss even in Senin Modo.

It is no doubt a disadvantage as any serious wounds inflicted during the battle will defect his overall ability to fight. Aiding also to his disadvantage is Samehada which functions similar to Gakidō; converting Ninjutsu as well as chakra enhanced physical attacks on impact to it's raw makeup then passing it on to storage which may be utilized by Kisame for regenerative purposes or to increase his jutsu by both quantity and quality. Tsunade on the other hand possesses a yin seal which over time stores enormous amounts of chakra which may then be channeled back to the users body for regenerative purposes or to amplify physical attacks, no doubt an enlightening feat but it's not breaching Itachi's genjutsu prowess and adept use of bunshin feints. In the end Tsunade's offences are too slow to catch an adept sharingan user like Itachi who was given a 5 in the Databook for speed as opposed to Tsunade's 3.5 that is also evident [through portrayal] inferior to Kisame's 4 for speed, leaving it questionable as to whether or not she could actually land a successful hit whilst the terrain is in the oppositions favour and "bunshin's". It is also possible for Samehada to absorb her amplified taijutsu on contact; even if damage is suffered as it has been done before. Itachi also possesses the ability to accurately anticipate opponents intentions as highlighted by Kabuto and Genjutsu prowess [even in the absence of Tsukuyomi] that in a given situation is capable of besting shinobi such as Tsunade in a matter of seconds if correctly followed by a life threatening attack such as a kunai strike to the neck. Overall Itachi and Kisame are the better shinobi leaving victory in there favor.
