You probably would have stood a winning chance, since there are bunch of fodders on the list of participants.
Honestly this tournament is nothing, if it were organized by the mods or narutobase staff, many more talented debaters would have participated since there would have been an official recognition.

Only about 5-7 members listed are fodder, there are actually some really good, and exceptional debaters listed.. Just because you don't know them doesn't mean they can't debate.

I disagree, I've known most of them are hardcore fanboys. They will be biased and will provide even the most trivial panels as full proof evidence by making elaborate false claims. Well it's just my opinion so don't take it to heart. Peace!

Don't confuse trolling with fanboying. Most of them actually know what line to draw when they actually have to throw down. They joke around in the NDS, but a lot them have shown they can really compete.
