A. gmv the overall composition is better, and the balance of lighting and shading is great. I also think the pen tool work adds a nice touch to the render.

B. isn't bad but the lighting is a bit too strong imo, and distracts you from the render. Especially the flare on the right side.

Anyway good luck to both of you
