Chapter 4 – A Walk In The Park
“The older the boy grew, the more thoughtful and reflective he became.”
Doom watches as Sasuke is spit out of the ball of a thousand serpents that slither around with a purple aura surrounding them.
“Wake up boy we are not finished.” Doom says standing over a more muscular Sasuke who is on his knees staring at his arms in awe.
“I feel… I feel…”
“Stronger? Yes I know you do as does every other who decides they want to grasp something more bigger than what was destined for them. You weren’t destined for this you know that right? You would have grown into a bitter old man on that planet of yours and achieved absolutely nothing. Now look at you…”
“I was having all sorts of nightmares in there. What did you do to me?”
“The entire hell was being shown to you. It wasn’t pretty was it?”
“There was so much pain… so much terror.”
“Don’t give me that Sasuke don’t act as if you can’t take it all and turn it into your favor! This is a new life for you are you really on your knees!? Get up and look at me!”
Doom raises his hand bringing Sasuke to his feet and dragging him closer.
“You’re still not strong enough… fight back!”
Doom throws Sasuke into the wall and it crumbles on top of him knocking him unconscious.
“Wake up you human scum.”
A ghostlike purple Sasuke wakes to find himself in a fiery landscape, demons watch him from amongst the hills and a bull headed demon with green skin stands tall in front of him, smoke coming from his nostrils.
“I’ve never seen anything like you here? Why are you here!?” The demon asks trying to grab him but his hand passes through Sasuke’s body.
“This can’t be!!? What power is this you have brought to our land!!?”
The Demon steps back as Sasuke stands to his feet. He looks around at the demons grabbing and eating beings of all kinds of races. They all run and scream attempting to get away but continue to be caught in their tracks.
“What is this? Could this be…?”
“Oh so you don’t know. I am Satannish. Welcome to Hell.”
Sasuke’s eyes widen as he begins to run away from Satannish. He runs until he’s stopped in his tracks by a pit of lava that is created out of thin air.
“Are you insane? You think you can just run from your fate?” Satannish says teleporting behind him.
“I don’t deserve to be here! I… I have to get out of here and complete my revolution.” Sasuke says.
“Oh yea? What is your revolution exactly you human? Another one of your puny civil wars?” Satannish says smirking creepily.
“It’s an ideal I have to get to. You wouldn’t understand.”
“We have all the time in the world.”
Satannish then creates a red pathway leading to a large red mountain that seemed as if it was carved into a castle of some sort.
“Walk with me and tell me of your journey.”
The two begin to walk towards the mountain as demons eat upon flesh above them and Sasuke scowls trying to focus his train of thought on how he was going to change the ninja world.
“I don’t like the way things are on my planet. My journey is going to be a different one. A dark one. But one must do what’s necessary to save the future. The ninja’s future.”
“A planet of ninja warriors eh? Puny things you are still going about your fights as if you have the strength to fight more than 1000.”
“It has being going on for that long. Maybe even longer.”
“But not in your generation. You’ll live to see 80 perhaps but you’ll never know war the ay others have. Nonstop blood and pain until your veins fall from your skin as your sword hits the mud and your foe puts the hot metal of his axe on your skull.”
Sasuke’s eyes widen as the fire in Satannish’s hand depicts the battles as the years pass and the planet crumbles to dust.
“I don’t want that terror. This is why I’m going on such a dark path as the one you’ve set before us. Tell me. What will be in that castle when we get there?”
“We will have a meeting there. You will tell me who sent you here and I will kill him.”
Sasuke scowls and begins to run as Satannish levitates into the air.
“Death is the true ending boy. Now stop running and accept it.”
“Never”
Satannish throws his hand forward summoning demon hounds that begin chasing after Sasuke.
“It’s no use remember? You can’t touch me!”
“We’ll see about that. I’ll chase you until the end of time!”
Sasuke leaps over a rock that leaves him free falling down a cliff. He continues to fall downward as the hounds bite through him in failure.
“It’s useless!”
Sasuke shoots a blast of lighting from his palm that devours the dogs who hit the cliff blowing debris into the air. Sasuke lands to the ground as debris hits the ground and Satannish teleports in front of him.
“You know why you’re here? To learn knowledge not run from it.”
“The only thing you want to do is kill!” Sasuke yells shooting a bolt of lightning at Satannish who teleports away. Sasuke quickly turns to see Satannish behind him grinning.
“You are beginning to return to solid form.” Satannish says raising his hand making a wave of lava come from the sky. Sasuke watches as it begins to fall and his ghostly form beginning to fade away. Sasuke in an effort to create an escape throws lightning on the ground creating a dust cloud. He begins to sprint away as dozens of hounds snap their teeth behind him. Fire blazes from their nostrils as Sasuke runs to a dead end he turns to see Satannish who wields a large axe.
“You will be coming with me.”
“So that’s what happened to you?” Doom says holding Sasuke up by his skull.
“WOOAAHHH!!” Sasuke screams kicking Doom into the dining room breaking down the large 10ft doors making Karin and Jugo jump from their seats.
“What in the hell!?” Karin yells.
“You two stay back or Sasuke will kill the both of you!” Doom yells as a levitating Sasuke enters the room with two large swords strapped to his back, the white behind his sharingan eye pitch black.
“You want to face me boy!? You are not ready to take what you want yet don’t get yourself killed!”
Sasuke dashes to Doom with blinding speed throwing a punch towards his head that Doom easily evades punching Sasuke into the ceiling.
“I know what they did to you there… they gave you water from the lake of Satin and you drunk out of pure thirst. You weren’t there long though we can fix you. If by force then so be it!” Doom yells shooting a cosmic blast at Sasuke who deflects it with his sword that carries a purple aura.
“Nicely done! Nicely done!” Doom says blocking each of the swords powerful swings with the side of his hand. Sasuke shoots a fire ball from his mouth consuming Doom and blasting against the green brick wall that begins to melt creating a thick green smoke that lingers through the air.
“You destroyed my designer cloak. My fault for wearing it on such an occasion.” Doom says ripping off his cloak and throwing it aside. Sasuke sprints toward Doom who shoots two green blasts from his hands. Sasuke catches them both and directs them back. Doom jumps into the air and launches at Sasuke punching his face in. Sasuke flips backwards repeatedly finally hitting the ground that leads him sliding into a pile of debris.
Sasuke wakes up in a room surrounded by Demons. His ghostly form quickly returns and he lets out a lightning blast from every inch of his body exploding the entire room.
“The hell am I?” Sasuke asks leaping from the mountainous castle and onto the road below.
“Quite trying to run. We run these lands of hell.” Satannish says grinning. Sasuke puts away his sword and stares Satannish in the eye smirking.
“LET’S SEE WHAT THIS NEW POWER CAN DO!”
The ground beneath Satannish crumbles and floats into the air along with the pits of lava and Demons around him.
“I can’t stop this… there is no way… you have some sort of dark magic or dark cosmic energy in you! It’s the only way!”
Demons punch and grab debris trying to escape their doom, but all are consumed by the blobs of lava that are formed in the air. Sasuke’s eyes turn black and everything freezes. Doom appears from behind a large boulder walking under a large wave of lava that stretches 100 ft into the air.
“So much anger.” Doom says walking around an enraged Sasuke who levitates silently.
“I’ll teach you everything you need to know. Everything.” Doom says walking up to Satannish who towers over him.
“And beings like you. We’ll rule you! Why you ask? Well I’ll tech you young ninja of the leaf.”
Doom walks to Sasuke levitating to his height and staring him in his black eyes.
“The path I’m leading you on…. The story I’m telling you… it’s of two parents. You might not understand just yet you… wouldn’t understand.” Doom says levitating to the ground holding down his head. He stands still as his body slowly disappears and time continues forward.
“Wake up boy.” Doom says as he lets go of Sasuke’s head and he falls onto the ground coughing.
“I… I attacked you?”
“Yes you did and it was very foolish don’t let it happen again unless you know you can kill me.”
“You saw everything didn’t you?”
“Yes I saw your little adventure through hell. It was a weak experience compared to my life traumas. But how can one compare such things. Others are more mentally collected than others.”
“How could you even do that to me!? You knew what I would see!”
“No I didn’t! I have been there myself but I have never had these types of experiences when accessing my dark magic. Now quite your tone!”
Doom picks up Sasuke by the neck and slams him across the room. Sasuke stands to his feet and goes into an awkward stance that has his right foot back and his hands over each other creating a dark orb.
“A little something I picked up in hell. Let’s see if you can handle this!” Sasuke yells throwing the orb forward and Doom catches it then making it disappear with a low tuned whistle.
“That’s it boy.” Doom says teleporting to Sasuke and hitting his neck knocking him unconscious.
“Playtime is over. Now to your room.”
Avengers Mansion
“Any sign of Doom among the star clusters in area B of the Milky Way?” Reed asks Tony who lowers his head in frustration.
“Nothing… Reed we can’t let them down we need something to give them once they come back.”
“Well we don’t have much time Stark so let’s keep it moving. Now tell me the readings on The Negative Zone.”
“Readings? We can barely see what’s past the ninja’s location at the moment.”
“It’s pointless. Doom knows where to bide his time without getting caught so we might as well call it a day and continue on with Peters plan.” Fury says. Tony shuts down his station and turns to Reed who leaves his station lit.
“We can find them. This plan is not a for sure thing. You don’t know how strong they can get but I do! I know Doom can get his metal claws on something and when he does… we’re done for…” Reed says continuing his research. Tony and Fury leave the room and head down the hall into Charles’ office.
“Quite persistent that one.” Charles says closing his book.
“Yes but he will understand soon enough. The only way to stop Doom is by force.” Fury says.
“But that force will be strong enough to destroy this entire planet. Take the battle somewhere else. Find a way to transport you all so no one on earth is harmed.”
“Where do you expect…” Tony pauses and begins to smile as if he’s come up with a mastermind of a plan.
“Well what is it Stark spit it out.” Fury says.
“I think I know a place.”
Egypt
Destiny Brown awakes to find herself laying on a couch in a luxurious room. The walls are all white and flowers are scattered across every inch of the room filling it with a calming scent.
“Didn’t want you to wake up and find yourself in a cell. That would be so dramatic and quit rude towards you. You are one of us after all.” Mystique says jumping from behind the couch and plumping next to her.
“This is a forceful relationship. But I promise if you help your brothers and sisters. We will let you choose what life you want for yourself.”
“Why… why did you take me!? Me out of all people!”
“You have the power to see the future. Is that correct?”
“Yes, but… I can only see up to about a few days’ worth of material anything father than that and I’ll go pass out like that… time…”
“What time?” Mystique asks grabbing Destiny’s hand to comfort her.
“I was with my father at a company picnic and I had brought a friend there. He took me away from all the commotion for a second and we began to talk and plan out a better future. That’s when he asked me to look far. Very far. A year from now so he could see if we were together then. So I closed my eyes and I took a deep breath. I saw everything. I remember it all. But by the time I got through looking at it all I had woken up from a coma. 3 months I had been out. That’s why I don’t go past a week anymore. That’s why I want to get rid of this curse.”
“Listen to me Destiny. This is not a curse. I want you to remember that. You weren’t strong enough and that’s because you weren’t with your brothers and sisters. You are now. We will allow you to see father than a year.”
“That’s impossible you’ll just get me killed! I know how this works! You want to use me!”
“No Destiny. We want to make you stronger.”
Apocalypse walks into the room as Destiny wipes the tears from her face.
“This is the girl I presume.”
“Yes this is her. She can only see a week at the moment but we will see what the outcome of our planning will be.”
“Take her into the mental training facility begin running diagnostics on the stem. We need this power fully functional as soon as possible.”
“Understood. Take my hand Destiny…” Mystique says holding her hand out as Destiny looks at both Apocalypse and Mystique pondering on whether to step into their world. She grabs Mystiques hand smiling as if she saw something enlightening.
Negative Zone
“This place is so boring. Are we gonna train or not Spidey. The pools man needs to pump it up!!” Deadpool jumps from the metal dinner table and begins doing push-ups.
“Haha! So glad we brought him! He’s awesome!” Naruto says.
“Are you smoking the same shit he is because that ain’t awesome it’s annoying as hell.” Darui says.
“I agree. Less talking more eating.” A says.
“You see the problem is, when you’re eating and don’t have pizza or tacos. You don’t eat.” Deadpool says shooting his fingers at A who shakes his head.
“So Peter what kind of training will we be doing? I know you haven’t fully mastered ninja arts and all so I’m guessing this is sort of a chakra boosting session.” Kakashi says.
“No I won’t be boosting you all with chakra it will be with cosmic energy. Galactus is a celestial being who doesn’t need his power any longer so we will be taking from him.”
“Are you sure it will work with us though? We aren’t of this universe. Couldn’t something go wrong and we explode or something?” Mei asks.
“No Mei you will not explode. You will handle the cosmic energy the way Gin teaches you to and slowly move on from there. Gather as much as we can handle for a few months then head back to Earth.”
“What if they call us back before our trainings done? We need to be getting the energy and getting out of here forget the rest of the training.” Tobirama says.
“That’s not how this works. You get too much cosmic energy and you can’t control it… you could go mad…” Peter says looking at Gin who nods.
“Whys that? Was this Galactus a mad person?” Tsunade asks.
“Not necessarily. He was a controlled destroyer of worlds but in his later years before his slumber… He got a bit more… hectic.” Gin says.
“Oh so we’re stealing powers from an evil being to use against another evil being. Call that irony aha.” Shikamaru says.
“You gotta love it.” Deadpool says.
“Guess that means we’ll have to create new jutsu on our own then.” Sakura says.
“I’m afraid so. I know I am the strongest ninja of all but I am not the bearer of the all ninja knowledge.” Peter says.
“Don’t worry. I’m sure we have enough legendary ninja here to get the creative juices flowing.” Kakashi says.
“Before we begin on our journey though I would like to ask you all one question…” Gin says.
The ninja all turn to Gin who steps from his surfboard and walks to the table.
“Power is a wonderful thing. What would you do if you had the most?”
“I can’t believe we have to deal with this. Sasuke why do you want to learn from this man? He’s turned you into a demon.” Karin says healing his wounds.
“He is a wise person. I just got consumed by the hatred. I need to think more clearly about it all.” Sasuke says standing from his bed and putting on his green Uchiha cloak. Doom stands in the corner of the room, his armed crossed.
“You think I am a bad person. I understand why you’d think so, but there is no good or evil… to be quite honest… there is only doom.”
“Whatever…” Karin says handing Sasuke his two swords that he unsheathes seeing that they are now golden.
“Call it a gift or call it a new tool of destruction. You broke your old ones fighting against me.”
“Thanks… now are we going to continue the training or what?”
“Yes. Now that you have absorbed a decent amount of cosmic energy I will be teaching you the dark arts. But not in this castle. No we will be stepping outside for we have arrived at our destination.”
“Doom and Sasuke open the castle doors to find themselves in a large dark green lit room. It was stretching so far in the horizon it was as if it was infinite. Sasuke walks onto the tiles looking around to see three servants lined up greeting Doom and taking his feast orders.
“Welcome to The Library of Worlds. I’ve got everything set up just as it needs to be so we can be here for a good year training you to be a God. Now follow me we’re going to the far end of the chambers.”
Sasuke begins to walk with Doom and he tenses as he sees the flames around the chambers grow larger.
“Is all of this even necessary? I feel as if I could kill Naruto now… Rip apart his friends as well…” Sasuke says smirking.
“You are underestimating The Avengers. If we don’t plan things out thoroughly we will get ourselves killed or even worse end up as Thanos is. A prisoner to the darkness.”
“Right… So are you going to finish the story you were telling me? Or do you expect me to linger own about it?”
“Well Sasuke I suppose we have the time for me to tell the next chapter. Days had passed, the prince prepared to continue his journey and departed. He rode on, and on, and on. The road seemed to grow longer and longer, but when he had finally crossed the frontiers of the kingdom, he entered a beautiful meadow, one side of which was covered with blooming plants, but the other was scorched. He entered into the Witches domain.”
