Chapter 12 – Freedom
“After months had passed, the prince prepared to continue his journey and departed. He rode on, and on, and on, the road seemed to grow longer and longer, but when he had finally crossed the frontiers of the kingdom, he entered a beautiful meadow, one side of which was covered with blooming plants, but the other was scorched.” Doom says as Sasuke stands upright holding his sword by the blade and concentrating.
“Will you ever get to the end of this tale?” Sasuke asks as he opens his eyes and points his sword at a field of a thousand flowers. Each of them are sliced in half as he sheaths his sword with a click.
“Amazing… he’s somehow managed to get even stronger…” Karin says as a Xandar prisoner walks up to her refilling her glass of tea. Karin stares at the soldier who shivers as he lifts the pitcher of tea trying to avoid any eye contact of Doom or Sasuke.
“Bring me my water you fool. I told you this an hour ago yet you stand her refilling the glass of the audience.” Sasuke says.
“Right away master Sasuke.” The prisoner says limping back into the large green tent that sits in the middle of the meadow.
“You’d think he’d be more graceful. You spared his life for this sole purpose.” Doom says slapping his hand on the ground creating a purple magic seal.
“Now to practice your mystic arts. Let’s see if you have the seven curses down this time.” Doom says as seven demon dogs chained to a large wooden stick arise from the seal clapping their jaws at Sasuke who goes into his fighting stance, his knees bent and arms bent as if holding a rifle. His fingers arched creating seals in midair as he moves towards one of the mutts.
“Remember. No mercy for your foe. You cast each spell as if it is your clear intent to kill the person on the other end of your fists.” Doom says as Sasuke balls his fists and they are surrounded by a purple orb of mystic energy.
“Force field now!” Doom yells and Sasuke creates a purple orb around him that blocks the mutts prowling attack and launches it into the sky.
“Next a mystic lightning strike!”
Sasuke releases the force field and thrusts his right arm forward towards the next dog turning it into ash.
“More relentless! I don’t want to see not a speck of dust from your foes burnt corpse! Next! Burn your flames like the sun!” Doom says as Sasuke’s fists burn black in Amaterasu flames.
“Sevens Suns of Amaterasu!” Sasuke yells bursting a dog in black flames. Its screams echo through the air slowly dying down as its matter completely disappears from existence leaving a small black flame that Sasuke puts out with a snap of his fingers.
“Very good my boy! Your next move is one you have had trouble with many times before. I suspect you have learned from the past and have mastered this technique, am I correct?” Doom asks.
“Yes Lord.” Sasuke says as his fists regain their purple orb and he moves towards his next victim. The demon cries out in rage as he looks Sasuke in the eyes wanting revenge for his fallen brethren.
“The Mists of Uchiha!” Sasuke says as the dog grows silent and a dark mist surrounds him and he stands still in a genjutsu of nightmares. Sasuke walks up to the dog and puts his hand on its hand whispering a spell that transfers his memories over to him. Sasuke begins to tremble but grits his teeth and bears the screams and the agony that begin to open up to him. He opens his eyes and the dog slowly falls to the ground.
“He couldn’t overcome your mental attack Sasuke. And for that he is dead. Continue.” Doom says.
“Seven Rings of Raggadorr!” Sasuke yells creating rings around the next dog squeezing it until its volcanic insides busted onto the ground.
“Jeez Sasuke! I can’t watch this any longer!” Karin says beginning to walk into the tent.
“You will watch my fury!” Sasuke yells as Karin turns looking Sasuke in his eyes that capture her, making her still and cold.
“You will be by my side to the very end.” Sasuke says as Karin clenches her fist and runs into the tent.
“Stop showing her compassion. It will be your downfall son.” Doom says.
“Icy Tendrils! Demons of Denak!” Sasuke yells as the next dog is trapped in an ice crystal and the last is sliced in bits by invisible claws.
“There. They are all finished.” Sasuke says.
“You have completed your mystic training. What you learn next will no longer be from me, but from others we run across on our journey through the stars.” Doom says.
“Why is all of this necessary? Like you said, there is no way Naruto is as strong as me. He did not defeat Apocalypse who is weaker than you, whom I am almost equal to.” Sasuke says.
“This war isn’t about power Sasuke. The power is just to scare the weak away and make them listen. It’s about the effect that your presence gives on the universe. You have to make them feel your darkness as soon as you enter their planet’s atmosphere. There shouldn’t be battles like this when entering a planet. They should know exactly who you are and what you are capable of. Once that is established they bow before you like the God you are.” Doom says. Sasuke grins and Doom hands him a metal suit of armor.
“The knight in my story is given his inventory of items by his father. They were things he wore when he was younger and well… here is something to protect you. It’s made from the strongest steel on Earth. May it suit you well.” Doom says. Sasuke looks down at the armor giving it a cold stare as he begins to frown.
“Look… I just want to thank you for…”
“Sasuke… there is no need to thank me. You have given me purpose in this cruel aspect that we call life. A father figure is something you have had before and for you to choose me to give it to you once more. Is a worthy gift of its own…” Doom says as Sasuke begins to walk towards the tent.
“Make sure it is done properly my boy. Our future must be secured.”
Thunder crackles through the clouds as Apocalypse jolts awake. He looks to his right to see Mystique by his side grinning.
“Knew you’d awake in less than 12 hours. Raid owes me about a grand now.” Mystique says sitting down in the chair next to Apocalypses metal bed.
“They… they pierced my heart… I felt the sting of my flaming blood touch every inch of my skin… it was unbearable… it was… pure torture!” Apocalypse says grabbing the sides of the bed and crushing them down to a crinkle.
“But now you are awake. What is your next line of action?” she asks. Apocalypse attempts to swing his legs but looks down to see that they are still regenerating from their crippled, burned state.
“Now that I’m awake the process will take less time… Once they are healed I shall destroy the ship that sent those missiles to destroy us. In the meantime bring me Orochimaru.” He says as he clenches his fists and his legs begin to regenerate faster.
“Snake Lord, Apocalypse has awoken.” Mystique says to her headset.
“On my way.” Orochimaru whispers his tone dark and deeper.
“I can’t believe they would try to do such a thing. And to think at a time like this! When Doom is not here to calm my rage!” Apocalypse yells.
“Focus on rage later. Your legs need to heal as soon as possible.” Mystique says as Orochimaru enters the room with an evil grin.
“It’s a pleasure to finally be able to speak to you as my equal.” Orochimaru says standing over Apocalypse who grits his teeth.
“My equal! HA! You have gotten stronger evil ninja but you are far from my equal. Now I want an update. Firstly how long have I been regenerating?”
“About 10 hours.”
“I wasn’t speaking to you my blue demon…” Apocalypse says making Mystique glare at him in silence.
“It’s been about 10 hours since the missiles fell. WE have the coordinates from which they came.” Orochimaru says.
“So do I.” Apocalypse says pointing to his forehead.
“Wonderful that leaves us to only one thing to get us past this attack. The repairing of our Doom Domination’s shields.” Orochimaru says.
“The Doom Domination will be fine as long as we destroy that ship that lingers through the stars. If they fire another one of those missiles we will lose everything we’ve collected.” Apocalypse says.
“They wouldn’t dare fire that missile. I’m sure they are fully aware we have some of their subordinates above.” Orochimaru says.
“Also notify Doom that I have awoken… On second thought I shall do it myself. Use your arts.” Apocalypse says as Orochimaru pulls out a crystal ball that floats into the air in front of Apocalypse who sits up. The crystal ball then projects an image of Doom who is sitting in the middle of a meadow.
“So you are awake my Egyptian God Card. You ready to head back to the field of play?” Doom asks.
“Actually yes I am.” Apocalypse says standing from his bed.
“Good. Sasuke is nearly ready to set off on his journey to the depths of Hell. Where he will meet Marduk Kurios and achieve his true name such as Doom.”
“And what will you be doing in the meantime. While Sasuke is off on his journey to be as evil as one can be?” Apocalypse asks.
“I am God Emperor Doom now. I will do as I please. Sit in this meadow until he returns if I wish. It isn’t what I am doing that is of concern but what you all are doing on Earth. Destroy that ship. Capture the ninja and kill the less important Avengers. Only the ones who you see fit to take on as a herald will you keep hostage until our arrival. If you capture the blonde headed one I ask you to keep him well feed and treat him as royalty.”
“You want us to keep the boy well fed!? He’s our blasted enemy!” Apocalypse says.
“Do as I say! After your task is complete I want you all to colonize the planet starting with America. Pick a ruler to rule each country. I will deal with the renaming and the governmental organizing when I arrive.” Doom says.
“So be it.” Apocalypse says.
“One more thing God Emperor. I believe that Reed Richards and his family may be aboard the ship that captured us. We have heat signatures that make out the symbol…. 4.” Orochimaru says. Doom pauses and looks down at the meadow shaking his head.
“Only way you could have been able to pick up those signatures is if they have lost their shield… very sloppy Reed… Destroy them all but make sure the kids are taken alive.” Doom says.
“Yes God Emperor.” Orochimaru says as Dooms image fades from the crystal ball.
“That son of a… I want my revenge! I don’t want to capture these weaklings!” Apocalypse says.
“I don’t think we should be capturing them either. The boy is an alpha level mutant and the girl has her wits about her. This isn’t a matter we should be dealing with.” Mystique says.
“Well you heard the boss. It has to be dealt with. We’ll set up a daycare center and everything.” Orochimaru says.
“Think of this as a joke?” Mystique says.
“No not at all my sweet. Now in all seriousness how are we to go about getting the children?” Orochimaru asks.
“I’ll go talk to Reed. He should know we’ve found him by now. Am I correct?” Apocalypse asks.
“Indeed you are. Seems they are attempting an escape.” Orochimaru says looking down at the screen on the wrist of his gauntlet. Apocalypse leaves from the room and a boom echoes from outside the hospital as he shoots into the skies.
“I should be the Queen over England.” Mystique says smiling.
“Ruling is too hard of a job. It’s already tiring being the ruler over Latveria. So many people to kill a day. It’s tiring.” Orochimaru says.
“Doom finds out you’re ruling like this he’ll have your head.”
“I doubt that. Now do you suppose Sasuke well make it out of hell alive. Heard he was having trouble even conquering the visions he was having of it.”
“I’m sure he will. Look how far he has made it by accepting his fate. According to this things you told me this is just another trial by fire. He won’t just make is out alive. He’ll make it out with the devils head in his palms.”
“He’s… he’s on his way.” Reed says stopping the ship as Apocalypse levitates in front of it. Reed nods his head and opens the back hatch as Apocalypse enters through it approaching Thing.
“Why in the hell’d ya let this bastard in for!!? You’ve completely gone mad haven’t you Reed!?” Thing yells as Reed walks past him smiling.
“So… you found us pretty quick.” Reed says.
“Of course we did. Your shields where down.” Apocalypse says looking over at Franklin and Valeria who stand beside Susan.
“Ah, darn shields. Can’t rely on Stark tech for nothing can ya.” Reed says nudging Johnny who smirks.
“Your attempt at humor is not going to avoid me from doing what I am about to do Reed Richards. You tried to kill me. And instead of doing so you tortured me with the pain of my own blood, and for that. I will not be taking you as a herald of Doom. For that, all of your lives accept that of your children’s. Will end here.”
“Now wait just a second…”
“Susan… just quite down. Let me talk to him.” Reed says as Susan clenches on to her children’s hands beginning to tear up.
“Susan I don’t want to do this. I want to kill you all together and watch you all suffer. Together… heh. Now then we’d be square. But as you know Doom is in charge and well. We can’t afford to lose them. Not when there is so much potential.”
“Potential? What is that a way of saying you’re going to use them for your evil benefits? Your new world order or your Evil Avengers!?” Reed asks.
“They will be taken care of Reed Richards. That I can promise you.” Apocalypse says as he steps towards Reeds children. Thing steps in front of him and Apocalypse grins.
“I knew there’d be a fight. You will all suffer severely.” Apocalypse says stretching his arm and surrounding Franklin and Valeria in a metal orb.
“You will not take my children!” Susan yells hitting the metal orb that is attached to Apocalypses arm with a giant shock wave that destroys all the lights in the ship. Apocalypse’s body then glows blue lighting the room as he blasts the Fantastic 4 aside with a blue energy blast from his hand.
“It’s over now.” Apocalypse says as Reed crawls towards him, Apocalypse teleports away into space looking at the four heroes through the ships large window.
“Revenge is nothing but the beginning. The Revolution. Is much, much more!” Apocalypse yells throwing a large blue orb that obliterates the Fantastic 4’s ship with an explosion that leaves behind nothing but ash.
“This is my doing… everything that happens next it’s… it’s my fault.” Tony says as he slowly hits his back against the wall looking at the heat signatures space. He watches as Apocalypse dashes back to earth and Tony then puts down his tablet.
“Naruto has to come back soon Steve he… he is what is going to save us…” Tony says as Steve stands next to him with a still look.
“There’s not a damn thing we can do about this Stark… Iron Man can’t take this guy down. Neither can Captain America. Nor Hulk. This is something bigger than us. This is something a guy from a different universe has to handle.”
“But I could have did more Steve! Don’t you get it!?” Tony yells as he throws his tablet across the room, and it begins to blare as if an alarm was set off.
“No…. no he couldn’t be…” Tony says as he dashes towards the tablet picking it up.
“He’s… he’s broken into the Avengers Tower’s lower level. He’s destroying what’s left of the iron legion and he’s…” Tony pauses as he lowers his head and Steve turns walking away.
“Doctor Strange. Quite a slumber you are in.” Apocalypse says as he uses his telepathy to pick up a large medical chamber that carries Doctor Stranges body.
“I’ve collected Strange. The rest of this Tower will be destroyed. There is nothing left for us here. We will have to look for the heroes elsewhere.” Apocalypse says as he leaves from the underground base then standing upon the rubble that once was The Avengers Tower. He turns shooting a fireball from his hand that sets the underground base into flames.
“I believe you’ve taken my favorite science project. Me being the nerd and you being the bully I think this is where the fight starts correct?” Tony asks as he and the group of Avengers that are left land next to him, each of them floating gracefully from the sky.
“Is this a jest? DO you think of me as some sort of man of compassion?” Apocalypse asks.
“I mean sure you’re a mass murderer but I’m sure you’re a good guy… in another universe.” Tony says.
“And in that universe I bet you are strong enough to defeat me, and I don’t kill you all where you stand.” Apocalypse says as he creates a metal orb that wraps around Doctor Stranges chamber. The metal orb shoots into the sky as Hulk dashes towards Apocalypse in rage.
“Hashirama, you go after Doctor Strange. Everyone else. Prepare for a long fight until the return of the covenant.” Tony says.
“Return of the covenant!?” Apocalypse says kicking Hulk in the face sending him flinging into the clouds.
“Better tell your God to hurry before his people aren’t here to praise him.” Apocalypse states beginning to walk towards Tony who points his left hand towards Apocalypse’s.
“Insert awesome catchphrase and BAM!” Tony yells hitting Apocalypse with a flare that makes him stagger backwards. Ms. Marvel swoops down from the sky kicking Apocalypse in the face as Tobirama stands behind him beginning to create a large ball of water.
“Damn you Aven…!” Apocalypse is interrupted as Ino hits him with an explosive rose petal.
“Those must be cosmic infused. Nice thinking Ino!” Shikamaru says as he creates hundreds of shadow shards that begin to pierce Apocalypse’s body.
“Have we not been through this once before? I am to powerful.” Apocalypse says breaking from the shadow shards grips breaking the shadow to pieces. Shikamaru then feels a large fire burn across his back as Apocalypse cuts open his back with a large blue sword. Shikamaru falls face first into the ground as Choji runs to his side.
“Oh no! Shikamaruuu!” Choji yells as he turns into a giant then stepping on Apocalypse. Choji’s foot then launches into the air sending him stumbling backward as Apocalypse bursts into the sky hitting Choji with an uppercut that sends blood flying out of his mouth. Apocalypse then kicks Choji in the stomach sending him flailing past Tony who ducks before he is hit by Choji’s ginormous foot.
“That was a close one. I will attempt to hold him off. The ninja shall create a plan to subdue him until Peter’s team returns.” Vision says landing next to Tony.
“You expect us to send you out there alone!? Thor, Nova, aid Vision while the ninja…” Tony pauses as an army of thousands upon thousands of Doombots land round the battlefield. Apocalypse smiles as he levitates on top of a broken statue of a firefighter who once held a flag that lies below him, battered and beaten.
“Come, Vision, Thor, and Nova. Face me as the rest of your team is burned by the beams of my robotic demons.” Apocalypse says. Vision shoots a sonic beam from his head that Apocalypse blocks with his arm. Apocalypse uses his other hand to shoot a missile that begins flying towards Nova. Thor thrusts his hammer into the air summoning lightning that hits the missile creating a large blue explosion. Thor shoots through the smoke appearing in front of Apocalypse who stands still grinning as Thor swings his hammer with a roar hitting Apocalypse in his cold blue jaw. The hit causes a shimmer that cracks the earth and Apocalypse withstands the hit punching Thor in the stomach.
"Damn he's going all out now. Vision give it all you've got!" Nova says as Apocalypse grabs him by his helmet beginning to squeeze his hand down on it.
"No you don't!" Nova yells shooting a cosmic blast from both of his hands into Apocalypse's gut causing him to release his grip. Nova then shoots in the air kneeing a bent over Apocalypse in the jaw.
"No more of your rage." Vision says floating behind Apocalypse shooting another head beam that consumes Apocalypse's body. The blast continues as the ninja are in the background concentrating all their power into a square that Hiruzen is concentrating to keep control of, gritting his teeth in frustration. Debris floats around them as each ninjas auras collide in a purple cosmic swirl of energies that connect to the square by small threads.
"Almost there. This blast will create a humongous crater in the battlefield. We need to make sure all the heroes are clear!" Hiruzen says.
"I'm on it just..." Apocalypse stabs Tony in the chest as he is speaking making blood fly from his mouth. Tony looks down at the glowing blue sword as Thor grabs Apocalypse's arm and pulls the sword from Tony's body.
"You'll pay for this!!!" Thor yells smacking Apocalypse in the stomach with his hammer then smacking his hand onto the ground creating black clouds over the green ship that begin striking it repeatedly.
"No mercy." Thor says as he dashes to Apocalypse jumping over him and putting the handle of his hammer over his throat. Thor grabs the edges of the hammer pulling back as Apocalypse grabs Thors hands attempting to free his grip.
"You dare.... you will not... kill me!!" Apocalypse says.
"I'm going to take off your entire head along with your ginormous mutant spinal cord. You will bleed as for those that have bleed because of thy!" Thor yells pulling back harder as Apocalypse then bursts himself into scorching blue flames.
"Thor get out of there!!! THOR!!!" Nova yells as the blue flames die out and Thor falls to the ground bloody and still.
"The burns are 3rd degree. He is most likely in complete shock. Not only from the pain of the flames but of the small metal shrapnel." Apocalypse says.
"Its ready Nova." Vision says through the headset as the small purple square flies from behind Nova who does a backflip over it. Apocalypse teleports dodging it to find all of the ninja surrounding him.
"How the hell did you know I was teleporting here!?" Apocalypse asks.
"Our attack hit you the moment you saw it. It's a seal. A ninja art." Tobirama says as Apocalypse's body begins to turn purple.
"What's.... happening to me...." Apocalypse says as he turns looking at his back that shows as seal.
"Our attack hit you as soon as you landed. Coudn't tell?" Shikamaru asks.
"Za Akuma Kirā." Hiruzan says.
"The Demon... Killer... heh." Apocalypse says as his face is turns purple and his entire body stands still.
"The Demon Killer plan worked!?" Rouge says beginning to laugh loudly.
"She can laugh?" Ino asks.
"Apparently so." Tony says as his chest wound continues to heal and his Iron Man armor repairs itself over the hole.
"The Earth will laugh through pain."
"Why are you on this ship?" Cable asks as Hashirama walks into a dark green room where prisoners are being kept behind thick green electrified shield.
"So this is where everyone is being kept..." Hashirama whispers as Cable steps from his horse.
"Ah, who am I kidding. What am I doing on this ship haha" Cable says as he points his large blue rifle at Hashirama shooting it creating a lightning blast that Hashirama dodges then teleporting behind Cable laying his hand on his head.
"Sleep." Hashirama says making Cable fall to the ground. Hashirama throws him into an empty cell then locking him behind a shield.
"Daaaaamn that was dope. Can you let me out now?" Deadpool says laying on his stomach with his legs crossed and in the air.
"Oh no not the merc with a mouth. Can I just call you Deadpool?" Hashirama asks.
"Of course you can bro who the hell said my name was that unnecessarily long ass sentence hahaha!"
Hashirama slams his hand on the ground breaking all of the shields setting free the prisoners as the PA system begins to crackle.
"I know you are here ninja. Hashirama right? You uses wood style attacks hmm sounds a bit kinky but I'll take it." Black Cat says.
"Aw c'mon Black Cat we know you love taking the D but try and show some class okay. Cosmic level supers in the room." Deadpool says.
"Yea I'm Hashirama. Just let me leave the ship alright I don't want to hurt anyone." Hashirama says.
"Hurt anyone? Do you not understand that this has been a war ever since the day you all touched down on our planet?" Black Cat asks.
"What do you mean exactly?" Hashirama asks.
"That this isn't going to end peacefully. Either you kill me. Or I kill you and every single one of the escapees." Black Cat says making a few of the prisoners run back into their cells.
"Okay then where are you! I'll end this now! I'll do anything to protect my village!" Hashirama says.
"Ah! Don't get ahead of yourself now! After you've gotten past my bots find me.... you didn't think it would be that easy did you?"
Hundreds of Doombots begin rushing from the large doors at the edge of the prison room and line up in front of Hashirama, Deadpool, Canonball, and X - 23. Hashirama looks to his left and right noding at the heroes next to him and then at the Doombots smiling.
"Let's get this started."
Apocalypse bursts from his purple shell flying to Thor and punching him in the center of his face making him fly down into the cement unconscious.
"We've made a terrible mistake... we used all our stamina on that one attack... we have nothing left..." Shikamaru says as begins to sweat.
"Fight for your freedom fellow Avengers! Do not let him take away your vengeance for it!" Steve yells throwing his shield that Apocalypse catches and attaches to his arm.
"Thanks." Apocalypse says stretching his arm and smacking the shield against Iceman who slides backwards into Logan.
"Damn that thing hurts!" Iceman says as Logan pushes him aside.
"I ain't dying without a damn fight." Logan says slashing Apocalypses arm as the shield fly's by him and into Storm hitting her in the side.
"Why would you let him steal your damn...!" Logan is suddenly struck in the back of the head by the shield that then morphs from the american flag into a large blue Egyption symbol.
"Apocalypse..." Charles says as Hulk speeds past him slapping his hands together and creating a wave of energy that makes Apocalypse stumble backwards. Hulk then tackles Apocalypse through multiple building leaving behind large holes.
"Alright everyone move in!" Ms. Marvel says as The Avengers X move through Hulks pathway of destrustion leading them to a beach where Apocalypse and hulk continue to trade blows. Each punch shaking the sand beneath them and shielding the water from even coming 10 yards close to their feet.
"I have had enough of your foul temper!" Apocalypse says grabbing hulk by the throat and throwing him towards Rogue who leaps over him and runs towards Apocalypse.
"Rogue what are you doing!?" Charles yells as Apocalypse swings his arm at Rogue who ducks dodging the punch. Rouge punches Apocalypse in the stomach and leaves her hand in caving under his weight as she pick him up holding him into the air while sucking away his strength.
"I've had enough." Rogue says quickly tossing him towards Nova who makes a diamond with his hands pointing it at Apocalypse.
"Nova Diamond Rod!" Nova screams as a red beam shoots from the diamond and goes through Apocalypse's chest. Nova falls to his knees panting as the blue aura around him fades and he lays on the ground unconscious.
"He gave it... his all... though his all... was not enough Avengers..." Apocalypse says holding his chest as he walks towards them.
"Damn this battle! Was it all for nothing!?" Iceman says attempting to freeze Apocolypse with a blast of cool air from his hands. Apocalypse's skin heats up negating the freeze and continues to walk towards the Avengers.
"This... this guy just wont fall..." Ino says as Shikamaru attempts to take control of Apocalypse by his shadow.
"Every time I connect he breaks the jutsu. Even the cosmic energy isn't enough to make it connect to him." Shikamaru says as his shadow suddenly connects to Apocalypse.
"Shikamaru you did it!" Beast says as Apocalypse grins then moving his hand making Shikamaru reach in his back pocket and take out a kunai.
"No Shikamaru!!!" Choji yells teleporting to Shikamaru who kicks him in the face. Shikamaru then takes his kunai and sticks it in his chest then falling to the ground unconscious.
"Your ninjutsu is so easily mastered. If your attacks are going to be so predictable you're going to preform your own death notes." Apocalypse says as he levitates into the air.
"Dammit I'm not dying today! Not before the cavalry arrives!" Cyclopes says shooting physic blasts from his eyes that his Apocalypses who laughs as he reflects the blast using Steve's shield.
"Man I really wish I hadn't thrown that thing." Steve says as he is panting heavily.
"Enough games Avengers. It's time for you to be selected for our lineup. You survive the waves of Doombots and the attacks from my horseman and you may join me. Decline my invitation and die." Apocalypse says as tentacles stretch down from the ship landing onto the ground, deploying thousands of green bots and soldiers.
"Haha oh how I love being a superhero." Logan says.
"Please tell me that's sarcasm." Emma says as the Doombots circle around them, their eyes shinning a bright teal color. Their hands turn into sharp platinum swords and their feet begin to turn red as the steel heats up.
"Avoid their kicks at all costs. Not to mention their sword arms..." Steve says.
"Ay! I aint fightin no damn bots!" Rogue says flying to Apocalypse who shakes his head as attempts to connect a punch. Apocalypse grabs her fist and begins to crush it as she screams in pain.
"Come to me if you want your freedom. Not from the evil that your future beholds or anything Doom related of course but... freedom from the pain caused by it's terror."
Deadpool jumps over Hashirama leap frog style slicing the head off a Doombot with his blades then landing to his feet shaking his head.
"Man such a shame. All this awesome robotic carnage and no epic Kill Bill esque sounds to complement it's marvel. Writer do you mind?"
"Oh hell yea." Deadpool says slicing a bots body in half and bends over as X-23 jumps on his bakc flipping and twirling in the air slicing three bots who levitate in the air shooting beams. Their guns begin to go bezerk shooting lasers as their bodies hit the ground exploding. Hashirama jumps through the smoke and flames racing towards the end of the room as Bots continue to race towards him.
"I gottem." Canonball says as he shoots into the air, flames flickering from the waist down. He smashes into the Doombots setting them aflame as Hashirama jumps over them and into the hallway racing to the elevator that quickly shuts.
"You cheated. I thought ninja did not break the code of honor." Black Cat says chuckling.
"You broke the code first. It's only right I even it out right?" Hashirama says.
"I'll be waiting for you..." Black Cat says as the elevator comes to a stop and Hashirama puts his head down closing his eyes.
"I don't want to kill this women... but if I must... let the Gods forgive me." Hashirama says looking up to see Black Cat sitting atop a flaming black horse. She wears thick Egyptian engraved armor and wears two small katana on her sides.
"Well then. Aren't you going to speak to me?" Black Cat asks.
"I've come to stop you. To stop all this madness that this ship has caused."
"This ship hasn't caused madness." she says in a reassuring tone.
"You know damn well what it's caused. I bet you sat on this side of the window and laughed as the inoccent fell and wept for their lost. Heroes being held captive in hunger. Alone. Thinking that all is lost for them. That no one will be coming. That there is no one left. You sat idly by his side the entire time. This is how this ends. With me having to kill you. Or you destroying this ship and finding a way out."
Black Cat stares Hashirama in the face as she steps from her horse and walks towards him unseathing her blades and throwing aside her holsters.
"Let's end this." Black Cat says as a strong aura of Black Cosmic energy surrounds her.
"The hell... so she's got the power to..." Hashirama says.
"This was a present from Doom. Let's see if I'm able to use it correctly." she says running to Hashirama who ducks as her Katana whistles over her head. She then kicks him in the face sending him flying into the air. Black Cat teleports to the ceiling putting both hands on top of each other smiling.
"Goodbye." She says as a large black beam consumes Hashirama.
"Not quite." Hashirama says appearing behind her and stabbing her through the chest with a silver kunai that shimmers a white aura.
"This blade was given to me by the sensei who helped me aquire such strong cosmic energies. I had prayed I would need it to kill. I wouldn't have imagined I'd have to kill a women... Something I've never wanted to do. It's done now. The prisnors are free and I shall destroy all of this." Hashirama says removing the sword from Black Cat who falls from the ceiling and onto the ground, still.
Hashirama slowly walks to the elevator and he presses the previous floor button. He leans against the wall looking down at his shimmering blade. The door opens and he slowly looks up seeing a exausted X-23 surrounded by hundereds of destroyed Doombots.
"That was quick." X-23 says.
"It's time to go you all. The battle for Doom Domination. Is over."
The tentacles from the ship begin to grab each of the Avengers as Rogue is thrown into the ground. Apocalypse lands afterwards sitting his left foot on top of her chest.
"You're pure evil!! I will destroy you!!" Logan yells trying to free himself from the tentacles grips but failing as they begin to shock him.
"Seems I've lost control of my prisoners. I'd think Black Cat would have put up a pretty good fight but... she wasn't meant to be a true horseman. Neither her or Cable."
"We don't want to hear your yapping!" Kakashi yells creating a large lightning wolf that grabs Apocalypse and lift him into the air.
"I don't like being interuppted..." Apocalypse says absorbing the lightning as Kakashi falls to the ground exhausted. Apocalypse turns his hand into a hammer and puts his shield agains the back of Kakashi's neck.
"Let this be a tale you tell yourselfs when you think to oppose me again. Let the picture of this mans blood flowing through the sand be a reminder that none shall stop the apocalypse."
Apocalypse lifts his hammer and as he is about to swing downward a foot appears from thin air kicking his sheild and making him fly backwards into the sand.
"And let our driving will of fire that shows we never give up be a thing you ponder about in the afterlife." Naruto says as Peter, Hinata, and Sakura land next to him.
"You're quicker than ever." Peter says.
"He is the one who trained the most after all." Sakura says. Hinata stands in silence avoiding eye contact from Naruto who looks back at her frowning.
"You're the calvalry huh? This is so amusing I refuse to laugh! More puny amounts of Cosmic energy will do you no good! Your fellow ninja are all out of fuel so you will pose as even less of a threat this time." Apocalypse says.
"Well guess we'll just have to show him we're not playin around this time." Peter says as he sits against a rock.
"I'll leave him to you three." Peter says as Naruto dashes to Apocalypse grabbing him by the throat with a large Kurama hand.
"You've... gotten much stronger." Apocalypse says setting the Kurama hand to flames as Naruto jumps backwards letting go of him.
"Then let me hold absolutly nothing back from you. This will be the last testimant. The final gamble of each of your lives." Apocalypse says lifting his arms and levitating every peice of debris around him. The debris begins to form mini tornados as Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata fly around them towards a larger Apocalypse who grins sadisticly.
"Alright then. No playing around with this guy. Let me at him you guys as we promised." Naruto says.
"You were the only one who suggested this in the first place." Sakura says as the three split up with only Naruto heading straight towards Apocalypse.
"You'll be facing me on your lonesome? Do not dissa..." Naruto hits Apocalypse in the chest with a fire blazing Rasengan that bursts open his stomach creating a large hole.
"This... this ninja he's..." APocalypse then looks down focusing on Naruto seeing that his comsic powers were far more vast. Seeing that the energies flowning through him were too much for him to read in the cosmic thinking space he had witheld.
"You're... much stronger." Apocalypse says as his wound begins to heal.
"So ya noticed heh! Wasn't easy! I'd tell you more about my journey but... I can't allow you to heal..." Naruto says as Apocalypse sticks his hands in the cement picking up the road and tossing it over Naruto who breaks through it and punches Apocalypse's jaw. Apocalypse kicks Naruto in the stomach making him cough blood. The kick leaves a frozen spot that quickly melts away as Naruto begins to emit dark golden flames with flickering purple lightning. His truth seeking orbs are platinum shinning bright as six of them rotate behind his back.
Naruto throws an orb hitting Apocalypse and making him fly into the sky. Apocalypse attempt to free him self from it's gravity but as he pushes away the orb continues to suck him back in peeling off his skin and armor.
"What... what is this power!?" Apocalypse asks as he bursts through the green ship causing it to begin a chain reaction of explosions throughout it's innards. He then enters space with Naruto racing after him and the orb then turns into a platinum sword. Naruto grabs the sword by its handle piercing Apocalypse in the heart and flipping him over making them both race downward towards the ground.
"Heh... so this is what Doom was stating." Apocalypse says as he hits the ground causing a massive explosion of debris.
As the smokey air clears Apocalypse is on his knees looking down at the platinum sword in his chest and at Naruto's golden hand.
"Freedom is yours now... I accept that." Apocalypse says looking Naruto in the eyes.
"Yeah, because you have no choice but to." Naruto says as Apocalypses body begins to turn into ashes spreading from the swords entry point.
"No... not because of that... but because to be a hero is one thing and to be a villain is another. Each concepts created by man. Supported by man. And inside of the man himself. This is a much bigger picture than you think Naruto Uzumaki. For here lies the grave of what could have been Apocalypse. But soon enough it will have the future written on it's tombstone."
"Oh yeah? And what exactly will the tombstone say?" Naruto asks.
"And that is where I leave it up to you. Death will be unavoidable. Death will be..." Apocalypse's ashes carry on throughout the sky as Hashirama his group of rescued prisoners arrive landing to the ground. Charles smiles as his X-Men all group together in tears, in complete shock to the point of pure shaking. Once the greeting where over they all turned to Naruto who looks at them with an awkward smile. Tony lifts him onto his shoulders and everyone crowds around throwing him into the air.
Sakura and Kakashi look up as once again Naruto is the savior. Shikamaru limps over to him smiling as Naruto puts his hand on his shoulder healing him instantly.
"So Naruto. You gonna tell us about your trip?"
Alright everyone here it is! I took a long ass time with this one I know I know but dammit I needed this to be a symphony of Apocalyptic awesomeness and Legendary. (Also sorry if I spell Apocalypse "Apocolypse" I am just horrible with that word and I don't know exactly why.... maybe I'm stupid... or maybe you're stupid... okay I'm gonna quit typing when I drink beer it doesn't lead to good things laters.) And oooooone more thing. I don't exactly know a lot as regards to relationships because I haven't really been good at them since I'm a Mississippi pimp but I will try my best with the romance in this thing. I mean people have complemented me in the past on my writing on the subject saying it didn't feel forced which is the route I'm trying to completely avoid. If any of you got any tips just let me know. (Didn't I just say I was gonna quit typing. You ****ing idiot)
