Because I'm Portuguese, so I know the Portuguese National team quite well. From what I've seen in the last two years, I'm not surprised, not one bit.
Portugal lacks a strong leader (or captain) like Figo was, and lacks an actuall GOOD coach.

@Caliburn, if Spain give everything they've got, I smell a burned Switzerland xd

You can't expect from the good teams to go all out. If the want to go for 6 more matches. I want to see goals and tricks too but those smaller counties play all or nothing and defend really solid. I think it will get better when the groupstage is finished.

Are you kidding me? Spain played brilliantly. Some of those passes were amazing. They had most of the ball possesion and the best chances to win this. They were tacticly amazing. They have for every position a much better player then Switzerland has. That team didn't come to play football they just defended their points. At the end of the match you could see those Swiss guys couldn't play much longer anymore but the spanish players could hold this form much longer. If this game was played a 100 times Spain would've won 95 of them and 4 draws. When a team doesn't score 4/5/6 - 0 It doesn't mean they were bad, you have to appreciate a walking action by Messi or a pass from Sneijder too.

And it's Holland vs Japan this Saturday.
im predicting a 3 - 0 win.
I really hope Holland will do good this year...2 years ago we got robbed after playing the best football the world has ever seen!

Spain had some good chances but they can?t make a profit - and THAT is bad for spain. I know that spain is usually better! And I am willing to own that spain were clearly better in the end - but it must be from the beginning. I don?t know this from spain!
