i call 3:2 very random score.... uruguay did play well, but not enough, just how wonderful passings and tactics nitherlands used, and uruguays goals? they were just luck o_O?

It is my strong belief that this World Cup is a gift from Adidas to countries such as NL and Germany.
Before you start hating, take a minute to read the whole post please and remember that i know football as much as you guys do too.

My point is: the Jabulani ball.

It is so lighter and different that the players cannot handle it. Teams such as England, Paraguay, Brazil, Spain, Portugal are playing a different kind of football than that of Germany, NL, Denmark, Switzerland. They are more technical, players control the ball before shooting it, the passages aren't that often etc etc etc, there are many dribbles by all players etc etc etc.
I have watched closely the matches of England and Argentina for example. The players didn't know how much strength to put and so, they either lost the ball (if they put much strength) or they tripped on it (if they put less strength). It's not only the goalkeepers who couldn't catch the ball easily, but the players too. They don't know how to play with it and if they come from a more "technical" football playing country that is obvious in the game. Countries like Germany and NL however, don't play this way traditionally. They go all the way for team work and they pass the ball more often than they control it, dribbles don't appear as often etc. For them, the problem wasn't so big.

Adidas even admitted: that the altitude at which many of the matches in South Africa are taking place may be partly to blame for its unpredictable nature.
And before saying that those countries should have used the new ball in the local tournaments, don't forget the sponsorship agreements—such as England's with Umbro; those have prevented most teams from using the Jabulani ball in the build-up to the tournament.

So, my point is, thank you ADIDAS for making sure that the countries which you sponsor will win the cup! :)

Well that's why they train to play with these balls before the cup. They're all top class players anyway, so they should get used to it pretty fast. My believe is that Argentina and Brazil lost mostly because they're defense was kinda.. meh. Also they don't know how to play when they are losing. If Argentina would've scored first goal against Germany their chances of winning would've been really high. Brazil lost it after equalizer.. At the moment that ball hit the net we all saw how nervous Brazillians became. That's because they're arrogant. Also talking about Argentina, arrogant speeches are excusable for player, but definitely don't fit coach..

Plus, most teams trained for only 3-4 weeks with this ball before the WC started.

Wow yesterday, what a match!! :O I loved every goal!
And Maxi Pereira scored one :D I can consider myself happy! :p (he plays in my Benfica)

@Luna:
Let me show you the Jabulani that the Portuguese LFPF (in English, PFPL - Professional Football Portuguese League) (not the Federation...) adopted for the National League.

You must be registered for see images

(I personally think it is pretty ugly!! The first thing I thought when I first looked at the ball was: OMG IT'S GONNA SNOW IN PORTUGAL!!! I MISS YOU EUROPASS!!! xd )

If Germany beats Spain, Then For sure Germany will defeat the Netherlands and take the world cup. Seems like the Netherlands have gotten pretty lucky with the 3-2 win since they made so many mistakes/weren't playing at their best. I cannot see them winning at all.

Germany takes it!

I think it'll be a good match. We got lucky? I dunno. The only "real" luck we got is that Suarez wasn't playing. I bet if he played we would have lost.:|

yes amd no, from what ive seen yesterday Netherland controled the game, i love to watch them and germans play, its just amazing how they build theyr way to the goal, unlike others... and i knew 100% they would win, talking about luck, Uruguai got lucky to have scored 2 goals.

Dont get me wrong, I see your point, but on all the WCs ive wathced (they might not be that much as the ones youve watched) they use the ball as an excuse. That actually annoys me, because they dont stand out for their mistakes, but make excuses. Yeh, the ball might be different, but they should adopt to that. They play in a lot of different competitions, especially the european teams, and they play with different balls.
Why did they not say anything before that, they had time to try the balls, to play with them, the could of noticed. 4 weeks, the whole WC is 4 weeks too, the played matches during thse 4 weeks, why did they not notice, didnt say anything.

My predictions :

Germany 2 : 2 Spain (extra times Germany 3 : 2 Spain)

Game is still tied, at 61 minutes... Spain is playing better, but if Germany scores... it will be really tough for the Spanish :)

Edit: Goal for Spain (Puyol)
GER 0:1 SPA
