aaalright.. *close my eyes and sits on the ground with indian style and start concentrating the chakra then and channels the chakra into the ground and start feeling it properties, the force which is binding earth particles together and the different characteristics (tough, soft, muddy etc) of erath then i start absorb/adopting earth properties, and my feet start getting harden like a rock ..*

as for defense.. i can make a dome or walls around me, or harden my body like a rock to save my a5s and for attacks, i can make swamp, spikes, pillars,earth dragon, spears and bullets etc to kill the enemy..

one can also turn his body parts into earth/rock to increase the damage on the enemy like while punching someone, user gather his doton chakra into his fists and turn them into solid rock then hit the enemy etc..

lol, btw i have been using shadow clone tech without being learnt (most of the ppl actually) so does it mean i was wrong?

*i start gathering my chakra and imagine myself infront of me like a mirror, then i release the chakra from my body and by using shape manipulation, i make it look, just like myself and channeling 1/10 of my chakra into it, making him into a moveable body..*

to increase the number on battle field, and making a group taijutsu attack.
can be used to launch different ninjutsu attacks at the same time on the enemy.
can be used to trap the opponent into genjutsu.

Not sure about trapping an opponent in a Genjutsu, but okay...O_O
I'll give you my eight guidelines...

First: Clones can perform various attacks all at the same time. Indeed, imagine if you had three clones in front of you all release different jutsus at you at the exact moment. It's like breaking time frame.
Second: It is hard to tell the difference between the real you and clones. Only the Sharingan is able to tell such differences, or normally, people just godmode this in battle.
Third: Being able to combo greatly with split-second jutsus - imagine seeing several attacks coming at you at all directions.
Fourth: Distraction in general - for example, a clone used Thunder Up, and caused an explosion, the enemy will be drawn to the noise and you could then take advantage of this.
Fifth: Release of Genjutsu.
Sixth: Sacrifice for information.
Seventh: Increase of field of vision. Blind spots.
Eight: Human Shield.

Understood?

(Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shadow Clone Technique

Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. Upon impact, the clone can be dispersed.

Proceed to take these explosive markers and lay them across the training grounds in a creative manner. Now, when my clone walks through the boundary of them, they shall explode.
Tell me how it affects them and how you might place these in an effective manner.
