RP: Dodai, in his right hand (in a reverse grip), motion his sword so that the blade was pointed outward and commence waving it back and forth. As the Pain sees the sword, he is caught off guard and locked into the illusion, causing him to hallucinate: seeing multiple waving arms. Ceasing the opportunity to attack, the Pain is cut down with a swift slash of Dodai's blade.

Analyze: The sword is a diversion which provokes the user to believe their in a sense of danger. Paying attention to the sword, they would not notice their in a Genjutsu. The kaleidoscope pattering the sword motion confuses the target, causing them to not expect the area targeted.

( Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku ) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion

RP: Dodai does a string of hand-seals: Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram, invoking a Genjutsu upon the starving Pain. Dodai immediately vanishes before the Pain, while producing imaginary bean vines to emerges underneath him and restrain his body. After binding the Pain in the air, a giant bean pod raises and opens to reveal Dodai himself, prepared to finish the trap Pain.

Anaylze: In the Genjutsu, the target believes they are trap: this is what the user what them to believe. However, outside of the Genjutsu, still controlling it, they coordinate their attack with the attack happening in the Genjutsu; killing them precisely at the same instant.

What expose this Genjutsu is that unknowingly to the user, by utilizing this Genjutsu, they are concealing their presence. The user (hiding out of view) can draw suspicion to the target, who could be tracking their movements.

Magen: Hanarasui ) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death

RP: Dodai invokes a Genjutsu on the Pain, who was treading on the flower bed. The Pain would immediately fall into a illusion where a there are trapped on top of a flower bud. As the flower bud soon explode, the Pain would believe their effect by the illusion and fall victim, resulting in them suffering brain damage from the aftermath.

Analyze: An hallucination where the target is confine on a giant sakura flower which revert back into a flower bud, enveloping and exploding on the Pain, causing them to suffer from trauma and collapse in the real world.

Not bad. The next genjutsu is similar to String Bean Binding Illusion so it should sound familiar. After forming five handseals cast an illusion on your target in which your body appears to dissolve into mist. A tree will then rapidly grow behind the enemy and bind him to it with wooden tendrils. You would appear to emerge from the tree poised to attack the immobilized enemy. Keep in mind the range of this technique, it's shorter compared to the one you learned earlier. Punish him.

( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death

Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

Now we move on to a simple illusion. Just cast an illusion on your target where snakes appear beneath your enemy and constrict them, thus immobilizing them in reality. On command you may have the snakes crush the enemy's body to inflict mental stress. If you happen to be a snake user, your enemy would have a harder time doubting the illusion. Give it a shot.

( Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire ) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction

Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.

Another simple illusion: Here you will make your enemy see purple flowers appear from the ground in front of you. They damage your enemy and paralyze them temporarily if he's near. (yeah its vague but seeing it myself didn't help) Watch out.

( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death

RP: Dodai does a string of 5 hand-seals, invoking a illusion on the defenseless Pain, which cause his body to vanish into a fog-like smokescreen, while at the same time, conjuring a tree that encloses the Pain and bind him together. With Pain's body restrain, appearing from out of the tree truck, Dodai attack or interrogate him.

Analyze: An hallucination where the user disappear into a mist, while restricting the target movements using a tree, creating an opening for an attack.

( Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire ) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction

RP: Dodai sees the Pain walking in the forest and immediately invoke a Genjutsu, which cause an imaginary snakes to slither beneath the Pain's feet and coil itself around the Pain's body. With the snake wrapped around the Pain, it began to crush his body, restricting his movements except for his hands and slowly squeezing the breath from him.

Analyze: An hallucination where the target visually sees snakes construct around their body, immobilizing them. Upon command, the snakes crushes the target's body, causing stress on the mind, resulting in the target collapsing in the real world.

( Genjutsu: Hanaoka ) - Illusion Technique: Flower Hill

RP: Dodai invoke a illusion on the Pain, who rushes toward him (with hostile intent). When the Pain came into range, he was ensnared in an imaginary field of purple flowers that suddenly appear and as he comes into contact with them, his body becomes paralyzed.

Analyze: An hallucination were the sensation of flowers could become paralyzing to the touch.

Well done. Get ready for the final set composed entirely of A rank genjutsu. The first one is an illusion used to disguise an attack in reality. Form a handseal and cast a genjutsu where you and the environment fade into a featureless void. Then throw many exploding tags around your enemy that appear to be countless butterflies in the illusion. The enemy should then feel like he is sinking into the ground up to their waist. While they are immobile you can place an exploding tag on their forehead and detonate all of the tags at once in a large explosion. Yes, the part about placing a tag on your enemy is a hassle but you're free to detonate them before that if you want. Give him what he deserves.

( Magen: Chō Shinka ) - Demonic Illusion: Butterfly Evolution

Description: The user makes one handseal, placing the opponent in a genjutsu. The user then tosses a large number of explosive tags at the opponent. To the opponent, it looks as if they are countless butterflies. The opponent then believes they are sinking into the ground, in reality making them immobilized; this allows the user to place one final exploding tag on their forehead before detonating all the tags simultaneously.

Next, cast a illusion on your enemy with a handseal in which numerous feathers appear to float down from the sky. It causes all enemies in the area to gradually fall asleep. It is great for taking out multiple enemies at once but due to being a slow acting genjutsu, most people can release themselves before succumbing to its effects. Calm them down.

( Nehan Shōja no Jutsu ) - Temple of Nirvana Technique

Description: The user makes one handseal, placing all the targets in the area under an illusion where feathers appear to fall from the sky. This slowly puts the opponents to sleep after one turn.

The last technique is simple but effective. Cast an illusion on one or more enemies where darkness appears to engulf their surroundings, making their sense of sight useless. However, the rest of their senses are left in tact. It is a great set up for surprise attacks if you can use the enemy's blindness to your advantage. Let's play a game of "tag". I'm "it".

Description: The user makes one handseal, causing the opponent to believe they have been trapped in a world of infinite darkness, where their sense of sight is useless. It is capable of affecting multiple targets within range. However, it does not negate their other senses.

( Magen: Chō Shinka ) - Demonic Illusion: Butterfly Evolution

RP: Dodai spots the Pain, who is playing with the insect, and performs a single hand-seal, invoking an illusion on their mind. Dodai would fade into a featureless domain, where butterflies swarm. Then, he would submerge the Pain's lower half. Seeing the Pain defenseless and hopeless, Dodai would reappear and stride to the Pain, where a exploding tag is place on his forehead. The illusion would cut off, revealing the butterflies to be exploding tags all along. They each would detonate, causing an massive explosion, killing the Pan.

Analyze: A hallucination where opponent believes he is seeing butterflies. However, the butterflies are disguised as exploding tags. Utilize for temporary distraction, these butterflies averts the opponent's attention, which prompt the user to ensnare the opponent's lower body in a sinkhole made in the ground floor. Once trapped and immobilized, the opponent is left wide open and giving the user a chance to make contact - placing an exploding tag on their forehead - before cutting off the illusion, revealing that all the butterflies were exploding tags that all detonate alongside the original.

( Nehan Shōja no Jutsu ) - Temple of Nirvana Technique

RP: Calming the noisy crowd, Dodai performs the "Tiger" hand-seal, causing imaginary feathers to descend from the sky. Their conscious would be leeched from their mind because of the peaceful illusion and their body became motionless. Caught in these feathers, result would be a deep slumber.

Analyze: A sleep hypnosis using feathers. Someone with great skill can break the illusion easily.

( Kokuangyo no Jutsu ) - Bringer-of-Darkness Technique

RP: As the hostile Pain approach, Dodai performed the "Tiger" hand-seal, invoking a illusion where darkness infiltrate the Pain's mind. Unable to see, the Pain would relay on their other senses to overcome the darkness.

Analyze: A hallucination where a infinite dark void blackout the opponent sight. However, their other senses are not negated.
