I recently read the new information on "The Last" and about Hagoromo's clan. Apparently, after Hagoromo and Hamura sealed Kaguya in the moon, Hamura took control of the clan and then took the clan to the moon for the clan to guard the mazou. Now this got me thinking about a number of things.
1. When Madara awakened the rinnegan years later, he broke the seal on the mazou and summoned it back to Earth. Why did the Ōtsutsuki clan not sense this or do anything about this? Were they all dead at this point (except for Toneri)? Were they just slacking on the job? Did they have no way of sensing the chakara (or the absence of the chakara) of the mazou within the moon? Could they not see the mazou inside of the moon with the byakugan?
2. If the Ōtsutsuki clan is still alive on the moon, this possibly means that there could be some Hyuugas on the moon. After all, it is most likely safe to say that Hamura was the ancestor of the Hyuuga clan. It is possible that he and some other clan members on the moon could have had some kids and made little moon Hyuugas. It is even possible that perhaps some moon Uzumaki or Kaguya clan members are up there. I wonder what power Toneri has besides those ki blast like blasts and bringing down the moon like Skull Kid (if you get my reference then shout out to you).
3. If the clan is still there on the moon, how did they react when Madara casted the infinite tsukuyomi? They must have seen the reflection of the giant rinne sharingan on the moon. Did they perhaps get caught in it?
4. Did they have any way of sensing the juubi's or Kaguya's chakara during the war?
