Übel Blatt - German for "Evil Blade"
Anything that has fantasy element in it, it my preference. Definitely going to read it. Is there anime?.

It's a monthly series, but when I originally started reading it, it was on hiatus. It also always takes around one-two weeks or so after the raws are released for it to get translated despite that it's one of the series MS releases. The latest chapters weren't that particularly long either.

Yes 136 chapters. I originally had to read it twice though before I could grasp the story correctly, it can be quite confusing, especially in the beginning.
It's a medieval world combined with fantasy elements, though I always found the way how the fantasy aspect is used to be rather peculiar and unique. Things like elves and dragons are of course not unusual, but for example they have huge flying castles and I literally mean huge flying castles as in a typical medieval castle made out of stone, only it can fly. They also have plane and blimp-like transportation, but completely made out of wood. There are series that have a medieval setting, but which is then combined with modern day elements like guns, but that's not the case either. Modern day concepts are used, but transformed into a real medieval variant and for the record none of these appear nor are supposed to be "comical".
Normally if you like Berserk, you should like Übel Blatt. Strangely enough every time I talk about this series, someone brings up Berserk. The main difference would be that Berserk is probably a bit more intense.
Definitely my type of thing. I've always loved medieval + fantasy things like stories, books, movies, series etc ...
