Still it is entirely possible as it would be a nice twist in Doflamingo's Pace.

The way I interpreted the effect of the Caesar Clown's method of making artificial devil fruits is that it only creates zoan types. That's why The Yonkou that is purchasing them from Doflamingo is known for having a crew full of zoan types. Thus leading me to believe that the Mera Mera no Mi is a true Devil Fruit that Doflamingo or his crew was fortunate enough to find.

This would be sweet if it were like this but just as The 3 said artificial df's have only been zoan types and they've not been made from real df fruits/powers. What Dofla is pictured holding in chapter 700 is no artificial df that's the real deal with all the swirly patterns and flame like segments. However it may be true cause I remember the wikia page on df's noted an incident were a df user died and the powers transferred into the nearest fruit which was an apple, I can't vouch for this though as I don't have evidence from the manga so if it did happen someone pliz tell me the chapter.
