Lets Begin: First off tell me everything you know about kATON. Weaknesses, Strengths. What is another good element to combine it with, all of that. As i wanna see what you know about it.

Katon:
The Fire Release area of elemental nature transformation are offensive-type techniques that primarily allow the user to create fire by increasing the temperature of their chakra. There are some exceptions to this though in which the shinobi forms mediums in order to create explosions.Commonly affiliated with the Tiger hand seal, Fire Release techniques are mid-to-long-ranged that cause burning and explosive damage. Fire ninjutsu is common among Konohagakure ninja, with the Uchiha clan being especially proficient with its use. Fire jutsu can also be used to produce both Lava Release with earth and Boil Release with water and by combining it with earth and wind, the kekkei tōta, Dust Release is produced. In addition, Fire Release possesses an advanced variant known as Blaze Release, which is used through the manipulation of the highest level fire technique: Amaterasu.

Fire Release is strong against wind because air naturally feeds fire but weak against water due to its ability to extinguish flames. A sufficiently powerful fire jutsu can be strong enough to overwhelm its natural weakness of water.

Fire is one of the 5 basic elements. It is mid to long range and an offensive type. User Uses chakara and muliplates it and breaths fire. Fire is commonly used by the Uchiha clan. It is strong against wind but weak against water. You can also use wind to make a fire-wind combo. It can also be used to produce lava release (fire and earth) and boil release (water and fire)

what i want you to do is channel your katon chakra into your throat, take a deep breathe and and spew out a small fireball and kill my clone with it *creates a clone*

Good but now.. when using fire style. You manipulate the chakra upon release.

So while its in ur mouth it's still just fire chakra, when u begin to spit. ZYou use chakra and shape manipulation + plus chakra control to turn it into whatever jutsu you're using.
