Zoro took two of his lives. We don’t know how many he has but it’s different compared to luffy not taking damage from the bullets.

yea hes the antagonist who luffy has to take down. but kid would be a rival who is vying for PK status and is of a similar age to luffy. It honestly makes the story more interesting in the long term. Luffy just being the only guy who is exceptional at his age would get boring.

there needs to be worthy rival to luffy from his gen and kid is that guy.
