Thats a good reason but i also think the real madara is part of the plot to and will confront tobi and will see who he is....and if itachi does stop the edo thingy then madara will also disappear and will make the war pretty much over so i doubt that will happen.

No he wont he sided with tobi. and he wants to test his new eyes out( itachis eyes) and that will probably be on one of the shinobi divisions.

Doubt it sasuke only wants death and he wants to figth naruto thats what he said in one of the episodes.
