the reningan is the 2nd stage of the byakugan,but u have to do something really evil to unlock it,jus like unlockin MS..rykudo was an out cast of the hyuga clan because of wat he did to unlock the reningan,and to make up for it he went around preaching peace,in unlocking the reningan the juubi...

my theary is that minato might have leave behind all his jutsus for his son,but he nows that they r dangerous jutsu so only wen he's strong enough,and the only time he'll be strong enough is wen he's capable of defeating the fox,so i think he locked them away the same way he locked away the...

i think that madara is tryin to be the reincarnation of the sage of the 6 path,but he's a couple steps behind because naruto has more of the sage within him...madara has - uchiha and senju dna by stealing the first dna and also reningan,in total he has (3)..naruto has - senju,uzamaki,uchiha that...
