If Hashirama's motivation for peace was the children in war dying, then he either failed to stop that as Hokage or was forgotten about by future generations.

Just basically one shot just about everyone? Sure there are like 5 or 6 exceptions, but most characters are finished if hit by that. So, I'm saying here, Amaterasu is potentially more OP than Mokuton. Yep.
