I think a official discord server for the community can be a great addition to the site if done right. Not to replace the functions of the forum but to enhance it by features that can't be achieved through the site. Such as movie or anime watch parties, community games or music sharing.

You can turn off the snow in your settings. Disable holiday styling. And the snow on the avatar is looking a bit weird cause it's made for the original round avatars and part of the holiday plugin. It will also be disabled if you turn off the holiday styling in settings.
