Well they don't mean anything to him as he said so why not. It's psycho logic. If he is Souta it's totally in character because remember, Souta is super sadistic and cold.

Definitely a clown-like behavior at least. Plus, in this fight first it was Hairu and CCG having the upper hand, then Matsumae beating everyone with Mairo, but in the end, Furuuta had the last laugh.
