Not really. They both use power ups. The only difference is that Kurama can also assist Naruto not only with power, but with planning as well since he's actually smarter than his host. Lol Yes, it is a very different situation.

It wouldn't be plausible that Sasuke wouldn't wake up. That would mean he was weaker mentally as a 13 yr old than he was as an 8 yr old, since he woke up the next day after he used Tsukiyomi as a kid to direct his hatred towards him. Sasuke as a 13 yr old would have woke up in a week, Tsunade...
