Im not sure. I don't think that Madara would be THAT GUY. He's not the one to betray someone for no reason. But if he feels that Tobi wasn't going to abide by their plan he might show him who is stronger, but i don't think he would kill him.

Ok, I know some people are upset about 600 not revealing how Obito survived. Instead we got and epic chapter(In me mind). We also saw Madara come flying in like the Badass he is, landing and making the ground impact was boss. And then it pretty much ends and people were like Wtf? No revelation...

600 was awesome, but I think Kishi wanted to get Madara and Obito both in the picture before he explained how He saved Obito. It really only makes sense.
