I guessed that it was because of some sort of sage mode but they never clarified what it was for so what are your thoughts on it?

The title says it all basically. My reasons for this is simply nothing really happened afterwards the only thing that happened was naruto gave everyone chakra then shikimaru came up with essentially a useless plan so what's your thoughts. :scorps::win:
