They were written from his material when it was there. This is an extra with which I don't have much problem with since they're kind of needed, however it's nature doesn't change.

Kishimoto didn't say Jack and even if he did he's doing his own thing. Let's suppose for a moment he "gives acceptance" to trash, that doesn't negate it's filler nature. The only canon novels were the ones written from his material(original Naruto Itachi, Kakashi, Sasuke, Saluea Shikamaru etc).

Kawaki 5.1 Sarada was a 7, but down to 5. Mitsuki was an 8, but went down to 4. Boruto was a 5, but went down to 0 very quickly. Queen Hanabi was a 10 and is still a 10+ Konohamaru was a 6 but went down to 2.
