from what i understand from the manga, the Uzumaki were killed off during a war because they were feared. How they were killed off and their history is still significantly unkown (though throughout the manga there have been major hints about the Uzumaki origin, but that's for another topic)...

too early to be exact. In my opinion, the wielder has the option to go from MS to EMS at will (or maybe only Sasuke can). I havn't really seen anyone with an EMS except Madara so it's unclear what all comes of having one. Since he has EMS, even if Sasuke activates MS, I can't see him going blind...

He must controll the same set of eyes. When used together, it unlocks its full potential (as stated by Madara when talking to Obito in their flashback). Sasuke even said in the Manga during the fight with the Raikage that you must unlock/master both MS eyes/abilities to achieve Susanoo. No where...

Obito also had a back-up plan with Sasuke to get Rinnegan and use it to revive Madara (which is why he kept him around). He didnt give him Senju DNA because he wasn't sure if he could controll his actions and go along with his plans (stated in Manga somewhere haha)

.....only if the eyes are a sharingan to begin with...not some random eye that would become a sharingan haha
