Danzo only had one of Shisui's MS eyes. I'm pretty sure you have to have 2 MS eyes along with the Senju DNA to get the Rinnegan.

I'm pretty sure you don't exactly have to have EMS to get Rinnegan. As long as you have Senju DNA and Mangeyko powers I think you pass the qualifications.

Thanks! Yeah looking back I did kinda go overboard with the NaruSaku tease. I kinda wanted a light moment in the middle of the battle and I thought some ship tease would help.

It seems as though: Senju DNA + MS eyes= Rinnegan. Obito has Senju DNA and one Mangeyko Sharingan. If he got the other back it would make sense if they evolved into Rinnegans
