or is there a greater reason as to why he isnt fighting right now? did he gather some of kabuto's DNA too and is he now waiting for it to "grow", so he could use "kabuto's" kekkei genkai + zetsu's own abillities against the spiral zetsu?

So what i am thinking will happen is some sort of hostile take-over.. Maybe with the aid of ino. We know that zetsus are like shadow clones, so maybe they can share chakra too? If that's the case then i see orochimaru using a overpowered curse seal that is too much to handle even for spiral zetsu.
