It all makes sense after reading the last chapter. Some chapters ago he figured out how the SO6P’s jutsu works. If this can be done with 4 natures, imagine what Hiruzen can do with all 5. Old Edo (not 100% strength) Hiruzen surpasses the Juubi host.
