If it has something to do with an eye genjutsu like the sharingan, they might be able to break out of it. However I do not think that they are immune to it, hence why Madara was somewhat shocked when he found out Obito was initiating the plan now.

Well yea, Hashi told them to stay out of it because he knows their fodder compared to Juubito. The only reason they have the cloak right now is so they don't get killed by Obito or Madara. I can see Minato and Tobirama still being a big help, but what if for whatever reason the Edo Tensei ended? :(
